Marlborough, MA - The New Year is finally here. While many people are starting to brainstorm how to go about their New Year's resolutions, Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern MA, ME, RI, & VT (BBB) is taking a moment to reflect on the positive progress of our new BBB Accredited Businesses of 2016.
“[BBB Accreditation] gives the company more high-quality recognition and gives the customers a hot lead of security into their investment,” said Rob Hone, President of Pathfinders Snowplows (pictured left), a BBB Accredited Business since November 2016. “We put dependability into our products and having a BBB Accreditation will only add more assurance to our customers.”
In 2016, BBB welcomed over 1,000 new Accredited Businesses. For each and every business, BBB provides a personal meet-and-greet at the business’s location with a member from their BBB’s Community Relations Team.
One of the main focuses of the Community Relations team is to help all BBB Accredited Businesses take full advantage of the numerous benefits included in BBB Accreditation. This includes ordering BBB branded products that best suit their business needs, taking photos of their business or job sites, creating a website for their business, gathering content for their Business Profile, filming videos to showcase who they are and what they stand for, and answer questions on how to best market their business.
“It is our job to serve as a face of the organization and make the businesses feel as though they have someone they can communicate with when they have an question about their BBB benefits and any of our free programs, as well as our general services,” said Amy Schram, Community Relations Specialist for the local BBB. “Being able to travel throughout our expansive four-state service area and personally meet with each and every Accredited Business brings a sense of community and connection for the businesses.”
We talked with the Community Relations Team about the Accredited Businesses they have worked with this year and would like to applaud the businesses that have ensured trustworthiness and credible standards for their customers by becoming BBB Accredited in 2016:
