      This company is not one you want to do business with. They overpromised what they could do in selling me a "custom" website. I've been paying a hefty yearly fee for quite a few years and used to receive an email telling me I was about to be billed for another year. This year no such email was sent and they charged me $773 on 12/20. On 12/21 I reached out to them to tell them to cancel as the website I was promised I would have has never preformed as I was told it would in search results. I got an automated response that someone would get back to me. They never did. I tried again after the holidays and no response. Finally able to reach someone told and they just told me to bad. We'll cancel the website but we're keeping your money. They are a total scam and should be ashamed of their business practices. I'm shocked they were referred to me by the ******************** of Realtors. I'll be filing a complaint with them about this predatory company as well. I'm going to tell my local association as well as my state association and anyone else that will listen to stay far away from this company. No realtor should work with this dishonest company who over promises, under delivers and knows the only way they can make money is by unfairly keeping it.

      This company starting charging my account without onboarding me and without providing a service. Theyre a ripoff and Im reporting them to BBB!

      The salesperson seemed knowledgeable upfront, but in the end, they had not been listening to my needs. When we talked about the mapping feature that I need for my buyers to be able to use, I received three answers. That made it very confusing on what I would be getting. Within three days, I had my meeting with the website team. I had paid for a semi-custom site, but all they had done is put the wrong address in a template and claim they had worked on it. Placester completed no custom work completed. A buyer can not do the mapping to select where their desired neighborhood would be like competitors allow. Placester expected me to draw 89 maps for the potential buyers. This was not as discussed in our two meetings.When I requested the cancelation, my salesperson told me I had to do it online. I canceled the order only to find they intended to keep all of the money.After an exhausting chat (no, they would not answer the phone), they are still fighting to keep my money. At the end of the week they gave me $650 back because they could not develop the website. They still kept $150 subscription fee even though the did not complete the job and completed no hosting services.

      My apologies about your experience with Placester. It seems to me that there was a big misunderstanding here between the salesman - you - the person completing the task. As soon as we informed you that the option you wanted - the drawable polygon map search tool - was unavailable in Placester, we immediately suggested another solution. When we saw that we couldn't reach a common consensus, we immediately offered to return the setup money.I have checked the system, and you have received a refund for the semi-custom build setup, which was not completed. You have purchased a monthly-advanced subscription, and the cost of the subscription is not refundable; this is written in our policy which can be found on our website.
