Discrepancies with the cost for installation and hours taken for installation. Mr. Foley indicated the charge for him to come and do the installation of our fixtures was $150 for the 1st hour and $100 for each additional hour thereafter. He indicated he would come before Thanksgiving and we agreed. He never did come, but we did get a call on the Monday after Thanksgivings at which time we were asked if the plumbers could come and make the install. We agree, but once the plumber and his helper were here and doing the install we received a call from Sarah an employee of the company stated the charge would be $285 an hour since there were two plumbers. We told her that this was not what Mr Foley quoted us and she indicated he was not a plumber. This was unbeknownst to us. We never authorized work at $285 an hour. We were going by the rate we were originally quote by Mr. Foley. Had we known we would be charged $285 an hour we never would have agreed. We would have sourced our own plumbers. In addition, we certainly did not need two plumbers to merely pull the old monitor plates off, install new cartridges and put new monitor plates on. Also, we are not even sure that both were in fact fully licensed plumber. Usually when plumbing is done it is with one plumber and a plumbers helper. The helper is included in the plumbers hourly or per job rate. You do not pay for a plumber and helper. $285 per hour is exorbitant based on prevailing rates of $150 for 1st hour and $100 for each additional Finally, the plumber that show up was missing parts for Foley's. Sarah end up bring the missing parts to us. The plumber was not working for while waiting to get the parts so we should not have been charged. Foley's acted as if they were being generous by sending Sarah to deliver the part.
