Middlesex Community College's stated mission is to provide educational, occupational and cultural opportunities to enrich the lives of people with varied backgrounds and needs from the cities and towns of the Greater Middlesex area. The college offers credit and non-credit postsecondary education including: technical and career programs, transfer programs, adult and continuing education programs, community services and developmental education. The school was established and incorporated in Massachusetts in September of 1970. The main campus is located in Bedford, and there are two branch campuses located in Burlington and at Wannalancit Tech Park in Lowell. Two hundred persons are employed by the college. Dr. Evan S. Dobelle, Ed.D is the President, Dr. Carl Schhilling, Ph.D is the Dean of the College, and Dr. Carole A. Cowan, Ed.D is the Dean of Administration.
