Pine Tree Food Equipment is dishonest in conducting their services telling us their work is guaranteed for 120 days, however, issued four invoices all total, two of which was the first visit. When questioned about these trips being under warranty their reply being , quote the technician lit the pilot and it is up to us to light the pilot from here on unquote. The last visit the technician used compressed air to blow out the burner, problem solved however our contention was that if the technician had done this on the first visit the guarantee of the work wouldnt have been in question and we would owe ****** for thirty-eight minutes instead of ****** for the three visits. The customer service person did make an appoint to say they could have charged us a minimum of two hours per the flat rate fee. So the complaint I am registering is two-fold firstly even before this company will send a technician a credit card has to be submitted to billing department. The instructions were that not to run the card until an invoice is sent out, but it had been deducted even before our approval. Secondly, if the technician had blown out burner at first rather than just lighting the pilot and turning up pilot flame, there would not had been two additional trips. So there are no guarantees with this company other than they will drag their feet and charge you for it.
