CarFax report: 1 owner, no accidents, repeatedly serviced at Marlboro Nissan. Salesperson said I could pay for them to arrange shipping the vehicle out of state. They would not handle title and registration on my behalf. 1/17/22: made down payment $3000 by debit card over the phone 1/20: paid balance of $13000 via wire transfer 1/21: paid $700 by debit card for shipping vehicle 1/27: recieved paperwork (odometer disclosure, limited used vehicle warranty, and motor vehicle purchase contract) via email to sign and return. They were dated 1/22/22. I signed forms and returned via email with corrected date (1/27/22) and corrected price breakdown. Put vehicle on my insurance. They said the title would be delivered with the vehicle 2/1: Vehicle delivered with no paperwork or title. Called sales Department: said it was previously sent 2/4: Title arrived in the mailbox. It was sent on 2/1 2/5: Found spare tire unremovable due to rust. Called sales, they said to take it to local dealership for repairs (2/7). They would pay for it. Called Southern Team Nissan to schedule service. Ordered parts (again ordered on 2/13). Service scheduled for 2/15 2/9: Mailed title and forms to my county for registration 2/15: So. Team Nissan discovered damages to suspension and transmission. Said it was unsafe to drive and Marlboro Nissan would probably buy it back versus paying for repairs. Spoke with Sales manager (Marlboro) who said the repairs would be covered, they should have fixed problems, and passed responsibly and further communication to Service Manager 2/17: treated some rust under vehicle, found many broken/damaged parts 2/20: emailed photos of damage to Marlboro & So. Team. Asked to repair and meet safety code 2/22: dropped off at So. Team for repairs. Marlboro has not approved other repairs to ensure safety & use 3/3: Vehicle still in service
