      We got an estimate for $650 they ended up charging over $1000 and damaged multiple items. They took very long to pack the truck and I  really don't think they were trying to be quick nor efficient.They asked me to call them and speak to a specific person. So I called, the owner (I think, idk who he was) was extremely rude and also lied and said he overheard the whole conversation between my bf (he booked the appt) and the guy who booked us, he said my bf said we had more stuff than we first listed, which he did not said. First of all, when we were finding quotes by phone they got us with a good deal that was not real, however they wrote down on the paperwork a much higher estimate and said not to worry that it won't get to that length, but it did and it seemed to properly get to that length of time. Horrible and dishonest company

      ***** has posted this very similar review every where she can. **** is her boyfriend booked the job. He told us what he had to move. We told him there would be a 2 hour minimum. Another day he told us he had more. We estimated 4 hours. The job took less than 4 hours we were under our estimate. I asked ***** to call and talk us through her dissatisfaction. Her story was so far fetched I apologized and told her there was nothing we could do for her.

      I paid $2,400 to Charles River Movers to transport a small amount of possessions from storage to my new studio residence in Riverdale, **. It was the worst choice I could have made. The truck was not only over 3 hours behind schedule, the drive actually got lost. That's just two of the problems that took place that day. I submitted in writing to *********************, the Sales Manager a list of my complaints about the shoddy service and suggested a rebate should be made. He told me the owner was away and he'd get back to me. He never got back to me. Finally, I called him last week and he told me that the company has no plan to offer any kind of recompense to. me. **************** said: "You agreed to the fee and we got your things there." I want to alert other consumers to be aware that the Charles River Movers Company has zero regard for customer service. Consumers beware.
