Very dirty place. Sheets are yellow w/stains, windows filthy. We were coming from ******* to stay 2 weeks. I called for reservations 5 weeks in advance. ***** the owner gave me a very good price. We arrived at 6pm. When we arrived the price had changed. We then spent until 10:30 pm cleaning. Just enough to feel somewhat comfortable enough to go to bed. My husband has to sleep in a recliner which they did provide for him. When I went to bed, I turned down the faded and worn sheets. You could actually see your hand through them. I then turned down the bottom sheet, to my disgust the foam mattress covering was covered with black hair. With it being so late, I took towels and covered the sheets. I showed the owner the next day. He sent the maids in to change them. All they did is put a mattress cover over the foam mattress. There was dust thick enough to write this review in. The windows haven't been cleaned since probably, the last owner. The stove top was disgustingly covered in smeared grease. The window tracks were full of cobwebs and dead flies. As well as corners around the rooms. I normally didn't allow maid service in unless we were there because my husband has a lot of medication. This one time I asked for service, the lady mopped the floors without even sweeping them and she started in the bathroom and proceeded to the kitchen. Our next to the last day there, the thermostat which is programmed and for some reason it went up to 85 degrees with it being 90 outside. The day before leaving I packed everything up and left some medication on the table in a fishnet type tote with my makeup. We put the "o not disturb sigh" out and went out to lunch with family for a final good by. The next morning, I discovered 2 of the 3 meds in that bag were gone. Xanax and a muscle relaxer. I reported this to the ***************** for my own protection. Upon leaving 2 days early, ***** the owner didn't want to give me the 2 day refund. But, after talking with me. She decided to give it back, and she also asked me, to never return. As if I would! I wish I could enclose photos, but you can check them out on yelp..
