I recently closed on a first mortgage (promissory note or deed of trust) sale. to the Boston Note Company.It did require that i send them pertinent information on the existing note. Afterwards, they sent a notary person to my house, to do the closing.The next day, the agreed upon amount was wired into my bank account.They were always friendly, and helpful to **** have no hesitation in recommending them.

My experience with Boston note has been terrible. Poor communication, had me chasing down Deeds and Notes held by the servicing company, made excuse after excuse to delay closing. ****** the sales guy was not honest by deducting the first payment I received in the closing documents, he had told me that was mineBoston Note Company Response

This client was fine to work with until the closing of his transaction. He was given instructions that he needed to close out his servicing and send ** the original note and deed of trust. When we received the closing package it did not contain the original documents and his servicing had not been closed. When we could not fund that day (due to the missing documents) he went on a tirade telling ** how incompetent we are and that we intentionally delayed his closing. Lastly, his statement about the first payment is simply untrue (and he is aware that is the case), his first payment that was made under his loan was May 15th, which he kept and it was not deducted at closing. We are still doing our best to close his file as quickly as possible for him, although he has been very hostile and we still do not have the original documents.Review from Bonnie F

Excellent company to work with! Even though our Note was somewhat complicated Boston Note was always helpful and supportive to finally get a very reluctant Escrow company to finally do their job! I was so worried Boston Note was going to walk away from this purchase with the many roadblocks and complications that kept arising. Highly recommend this company! We signed a contract on September 29, it is December 29. They said we could close in October, then November, then by the end of the year. I guess I will leave a bad review and see if I can get them to move forward. If this doesn't work, I will have to contact my attorney to see if they will honor their signed contract.Boston Note Company Response

Unfortunately, this client's note is very tough, one of the issues being a very small loan balance. As we discussed with the client, due to this we can not place this with a line with one of our banks and have to use private funds. The original private investor backed out (did not like the asset) and we are now presenting to additional private investors at the client request.Review from Randy C

I used this company over a year ago when I sold the Deed of Trust I had on a property. I had nothing but a good experience. They were always quick to get back in touch with me if I had any issues. They gave me exactly what they offered for the deed. The only issues I had was through the Law Firm I originally used when I sold the property and did the **** of Trust to begin with. The people at Boston went well above and beyond to get in touch with the law firm and get it all worked out for me as quickly as possible. I did speak with a few other companies, and they seemed the most responsive and offered me the most money. Personally I'd recommend then to anyone. I meant to leave this review a long time ago, but we've had health issues and such to deal with so I got sidetracked.Boston Note Company Response

Everything went very smoothly. When something was needed, their team helped me get what they needed. Every time I called someone answered. If a message was left or they were out for lunch, they always called back. The only hang up was at the end and that was an issue with the title company we were using. Our closing was at 09:00 am and the funds were in our account the next morning. Also, of the companies contacted, they gave the highest quote and that number never changed.
