I just want to put this out there. I would not recommend northern mattress and furniture in ******* ***** to anyone. We were going to buy a couch from them. We decide Saturday to look and they said we could put a deposit down but they couldnt schedule until paid in full for delivery. So I said, I could come back tomorrow. Then we went home thought more about the color. Thought it would not work for the family and get ruined. So I call back in less then ************************************************************* restocking since the warehouse was closed. They told me no deposit refund and could only give me a credit only. I told them I want my $598 back. We were being nice when our put that much down. We could have put down just $25.00. But we didnt know companies can take your money with a no refund on deposit policy that does not exist on stock furniture. This is not right. I told them this not legal. I will take them to court. She said, oh well and we cant talk anymore!

I bought Furniture from Northern Mattress in *******..The table set and chairs came damaged..I didn't see the scratches until I got home..I immed called them as it was the day before Thanksgiving .I had to constantly get after them to get new chairs delivered.....Finally they delivered the chairs on a day I was working..no phone call to let me know.....They came back later after I called them and got the run around..The chairs they brought were more damaged then the ones I had!!!!! They took those back with them..I had to do the whole phone chase all over..they decided they would order me a whole new set .4-6 weeks....8 weeks later..no phone calls ..nothing.. I call them again..no table set..but they have a showroom one coming so I can have that.They will call me friday( last night) giving me a 2 hour window of the delivery today. Big surprise..no call.So once again I chased them down and lo and behold...my delivery is next Wednesday instead..when I will be out of town!!! I told the woman on the phone not to deliver that furniture that I am going to see a lawyer for small claims..lemon law etc... She told me she was done talking to me. call ***** on Monday!!! So ..1...apparently the furniture you get at Northern Mattress is the same that Mardens has..scratch and dent but at a much higher price 2.They Do not communicate with their delivery trucks 3. They do not call you back 4.They do not care about their customers *****Think long and hard before you spend your hard earned money there and if u do...check your stuff over..because you don't get the showroom quality you are looking at..you get the stuff from the warehouse.***Big ****** learned....with tax refund season coming up..spend your money elsewhere..Also..the y told me that alot of their stuff arrives damaged!
