      ViaCord customer service promised to deliver the kit to us and then to the hospital directly after we reported the delivery issue to them. ***** with supervisors. The kit never arrived and we lost a one time opportunity to collect and store the umbilical cord blood. Stay away from this company, irresponsible, they are not trustworthiness, use another company.

      **************** is more than horrible, rude, and careless. At the end of process to schedule a pick up, he expected my DIL to get out of bed and bring the cord blood box 9 floors down to the lobby just a few short hours after a C-section. I asked if they could retrieve it from the room. He said they would come up to get the box with the cord blood. Once the person arrived, they called my DIL and requested she bring him the box. She couldn't even get out of bed yet. My son was with their newborn in the ***** I am so glad the hospital let me stay after hours to assist. I went down to deliver the box and asked why they couldn't come up. I was completely ignored. They verified the number on the box, picked it up, and left. I wouldnt even give them a star if I could leave a review without it.

      I had a very good experience with this company. The process was extremely simple, transparent and easy. *********************** took care of my registration and she was simply amazing, She made the process so seamless that everything was set up in a few minutes and after paying she still kept answering all my questions, she was not there only to close me and then forget about me, she gave me and my family and amazing after sales service. If you are considering cord blood storing I recommend Viacord 100%.I signed a contract with Viacord for both blood and tissue sample, unfortunately I wasn't able to send them the tissue sample and they automatically corrected that on their system without any questions and charged me what was due only for blood.I did my due diligence and read every other review. Most people complain after they ask to stop the service, but in most cases it is because those clients didn't follow the correct procedure. When I read my contract it clearly sates that there are regulations and procedures enforced by the *** and other organizations that forbid coord blood to be destroyed without the proper documentation and authorizations.I sell cars for a living and I try to give my best to every single client. That's why I appreciate when I receive an extraordinary service from someone.That being said, I am completely satisfied with the service they gave me, it definitely surpassed my expectations and I am looking forward to a very long relationship with Viacord.

      I have been trying to cancel my account for 3 YEARS they do not log the form I send to cancel the account. They somehow receive & deposit my check but claim they do not receive official cancellation form included in the same envelope with the check. They are a total scam. I have NO REASON TO BELIEVE they actually store the cord blood they claim to store, they are ***************** DO NOT BANk HERE.

      THIS COMPANY WILL CHARGE YOU WHAT EVER THEY WANT, WHENEVER THEY WANT.My wife and I welcomed our little girl a month early and as a result didn't have time to research cord blood and cord tissue storage options prior to our arrival. The hospital provided us with ViaCords info when we arrived. We signed up for ViaCord while my wife was in labor and agreed to pay the upfront costs and first year of storage that day via phone with our Credit Card. 3 months later my credit card was charged another $75. I didn't receive any notification from ViaCord (no ****, no receipt, no explanation), I only knew I was charged after looking at my bank statement. When I called to ask what the charge was for no one at ViaCord could explain it to me, I called back daily for 2 weeks and couldn't get an explanation. I had to dispute the charge, and they obviously couldn't explain the charge to the bank as it was resolved in my favor. Now I receive daily calls from their finance department stating I owe them $75. It's been 4 months and I still can't get an explanation. I talked to the finance department who informed me "we don't provide copies of invoices". AKA they can charge you for what ever they like, or change the price later. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FROM THEM. Don't trust the sales reps on the phone. The unfortunate part is they now hold my daughters stem cells and in a sense are holding us hostage. They are happy to make us pay what ever they deem appropriate. I would have to say this is extremely inappropriate business practices.

      You should be very careful. When you decide that after more than a decade of paying for this less than useful service they will send you lots of threatening letters. Once they are done with that and trying to extort additional fees from you they will then send you to a collections agency. Buyer beware. They were recommended by our *****, now they tell their patients to stay away.
