I was hired on 1-25-22 and signed the offer letter on ****. *************************** was my hiring manager. In the first two interviews, most of the time was spent explaining the job to me. There was no start date listed on the offer. She gave an oral tentative start date in March and then pushed it back to April saying she was still working on hiring two more people. This was the same excuse used 3 weeks later. This does not allow employees to give adequate notice to their current job or find a place to live in the new state. The company had me complete a packet of about 20 pages of security documents. The directions for completing these documents were not clear. On 2-8, I sent in my documents. The manager called after receiving them saying I filled out two pages incorrectly. She assured me it was alright, and I sent the corrected versions out the next day. On 2-8, I informed the manager I would be traveling to *********** from Georgia to see apartments from **** to 3-2. On ****, I had a meeting with ******* where I respectfully shared frustrations that the company does not reimburse for any costs in training. On ****, the manager called and said they would no longer be bringing me on through training. She said the reason was that I asked too many questions and that I did not have the independence to do this job. This came after I drove 7.5 hours to *********** and spent a week paying for a hotel and searching for places to live there, a trip the manager knew about for over a week. I had also already sent in notice to my current job, and I am now unemployed. In the offer letter, it says the offer is contingent on a clear security and background check. There is nothing off in my background or clearance, not even a parking ticket on record. I would like to post my experience with AIS with the BBB so other potential employees will know what they're getting themselves into.
