Let me just give the facts. With my state inspection due this month, earlier this week I stopped by ***********************, where I have been satisfied during a couple of visits over the last two years. Less than half an hour after handing over the keys, I learned that one of my front brakes was stuck in the on position, and that one of my tires was cracked, necessitating four new tires. The cost would be $1700. Surprised by all of this, today I sought a second opinion from a dealer who sells my type of auto; I did not disclose *********************** diagnosis but did ask that they take an extra-careful look at the brakes. After at least an hour, I was told everything was fine. The cost was $18.50. That dealer has a reputation to protect, and my wife and I have been impressed by their service on our other car, so I am confident in their evaluation today. I don't know whether *********************** thought I was an easy **** or their mechanic was confused, but I do know I will never return there and will tell my story to anyone who asks me for the name of a good garage so they know where NOT to go. If giving a negative number of stars was an option as part of this review, I would give as many of those as allowed.

If I could put negative stars with the service I received today I would. This morning I was calling around asking for the prices for 2 tires. was told a price at ************************** and it was a really good price about ***** less than everyone else so I accepted it. They said I can have the tires around 1 I called a little after 1 to see if they had them they did. I asked when would be a good time to get the tires he said about 2 but wouldn't give me an appointment as they only work on a walk in basis I got there about two he said it would be with in the hour so I waited. car finally went in. took a total of a little over 2 hours whatever that's fine it was same day however when I got to cashing out. the slip reflected over 100$ more than what he quoted me which really irked me. alone most of these things would not have bothered me but the whole experience then on top of it when I questioned him it was 100% my fault could not have been him misquoting me at all. okay put the blame on me and off of you. not professional at all -10 out of 10 would not recommend will not go here again. Like take responsibility for your own things. my boyfriend and I were both on that call this morning to make sure we both heard the right thing.
