      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! Bought a car in July 2023 didnt have the title to the car so I left with dealer plates with a note saying I was on an extended test drive. Get a call that they finally registered my car after a few attempts of doing so. Get a call from DJ(******) asking me and I quote act like an adult and come get your registration that I was driving on illegal plates after they are the ones who gave me the plate to begin with. I get there and there was a confrontation not smoothing it over. Poor customer service. Then they give me the wrong plate to my registration. I cant begin to tell u how the financing ******** that was a joke too. Told me one price then came back with another. The only reason I bought the car was bc I was stuck with no car and they knew that. Plus they say they have no cars but you find out later they have multiple lots. Never will I ever buy a car from here. I was told to contact the owner on ******** but that came back with no response as well. Any good reviews seem to be from family members of staff or friends to keep their ratings from going down to no stars.

      Bought a car there in May 2023. The sales process of buying a new car there was fine. Everything from once we said yes was terrible. It took a few visits of a few hours each time before we actually got the car. We received the car 2 weeks after we said yes (even though they had the car on the lot). They sold us an electric car with a useless charging cable that charges at 2 mi/hour at my house. We called for customer service multiple times and got not response. The one time we did get through the person knew nothing about electric cars they sell. We still haven't received the title. The *** says there are errors in what was entered by Empire. We got two notices our lease was not approved even though it was. We never got the first lease bill then we got a late notice. We called and emailed the general manager with no response. This was for buying a top of the line new electric car, I can't imagine what service you get for a less expensive vehicle. Do not buy a car here of any time.

      They sold me a car that ****** acknowledged during my test drive was shakey and one of the tires needed air. A few days later, every single day Im putting air in the tire. I let ****** know right away, he tells me service is closed contact them. I contact them they have me in for an emergency appointment to fix the tire. Days later. They lift my car (after waiting two hours after my appointment time for a tire) look at the tire and fail to see that I have a cracked rim. They try to charge me 300+ for a new tire. They were gonna put a tire over a cracked rim. When I asked for a discount or anything, I was laughed at right in my face, seen by multiple people. I leave, buy my own tire and go to a tire shop to get one out on. This tire shop shows me the tire cant be put on because theres a crack, and also the back breaks are gone. I just bought the car. Nobody from the dealership would answer me about this issue, so I wrote a bad review and status. The rep ****** was able to argue with me online saying I drove x amount miles and even had his facts wrong on how long Ive had the car. Im driving on a dented donut that was in the car. The car is unsafe within 30 days yet theyre taking it personally not helping me because I negatively reviewed them. So many red flags and they cant even inspect a car. They discriminate if your lgbt+ and when driving to the dmv, ****** showed me their Hyundai ionic goes 100+ mph against my will.

      I bought a vehicle from them about a month ago. I had been speaking with somebody VIA ******** because I was looking for a newer vehicle since I was just in an accident and needed a new car. The reason I reached out to empire was because they had an ad on ******** to lock rates in for 0%APR 0 due at signing No payments for 90 days etc etc. when I went there I was driving a rental ************ and they asked if I wanted to get one of those I said NO I DONT I was looking for a newer sonata . At first I test drive a Elantra when I got back I was informed that the vehicle had been sold magically. The ONLY car they had to be able to put me in was a ***** Malibu which I said I didnt want and when I was in contact via ******** they said they had 3 other lots to choose from and I asked about that and they said this ****** was the only thing they can get me approved for so whatever ok fine its a nice car, I go for it. At first they tried charging me I think 23k or 24k the bank rejected it. Long story short they make me put 3k down for TAXES AND FEESWell when the salesman and financier were talking I looked up online the inventory typed the vin number in and found the EXACT vehicle on their website for ******. I got a loan for 22k with 3k for taxes supposedly. Why was it listed on their website for a certain price and I got sold it for a few grand more?It was unclear what I was actually paying for it til I left and seen the actual paperwork for 22k and the lady in front of me had the same issue they tried selling her a car for more than asking price.I left and noticed a cracked windshield,the grill is cracked with plastic peices missing,rims and tires all messed up and nobody has offered anything after many complaints! So I believe what they did was add that extra 3k onto the loan for a down payment and still charged me for ***** for taxes and fees supposedly and I paid over 3k for listed price with matched vin on THEIR website.Never again

      While they pride themselves with an air of smiles and lighthearted banter, these are highly deceptive salesmen who will do everything in their power to ensure you aren't getting a good deal.Every car on their website, or any other third-party retailer, is listed with a price of $3,000 less than what they are actually selling it for - a detail of fine print at the bottom of the page. In addition, they will shove printouts of irrelevant KBB ratings and screenshots of some random "car-payments.com" website claiming that the average price of a used car payment is upwards of $600/month. They will jerk you around constantly with official-looking (but, in actuality, completely useless) documents in an attempt to coerce you into a completely unfair price.Empire will straight-up lie to you about your financing options. At the ******* dealership, we were informed they did business with over 20 banks and credit unions in the local area - including Navigant, who we had inquired about specifically. When signing for the car, we found that in reality, they do business with just 6 banks - the majority of which are in the *****************. Additionally - and this is where my assessment of Empire moves from "deceptive" to "dangerous" - do not expect your personal or financial documents to be safe with these people, and do not expect them to do what is required of them as a dealership in the ***********. After we signed for the car, they waited nearly three weeks to submit documentation to the **** as they had neglected to have us sign an additional document and had somehow seen it best fit to completely ignore it until we inquired rather than actually notifying us to come back in. They also needed to ask to scan a copy of my driver's license to have on file three times over multiple days while we were purchasing the car; if they cannot keep documents like that on-file and in a safe place, then I worry about their extant handling practices for more sensitive items.

      I ordered a car through Empire Hyundai, they said there was no guarantee on when the car I wanted would come in. I planned to keep looking for a car in the meantime because my car was totaled and I was driving a rental. I made sure I asked about my deposit being refundable and was told it was a win for them either way because even if I backed out they would have another car on the lot to sell.When I asked for my deposit back because I found a car sooner somewhere else, the person I spoke to told me only the sales person that I worked with could help me and she was unavailable. I called a few times over a 2 week period and they told me she was sick or busy.I had my boyfriend call and he finally got through to the salesperson, she said no one had told her I was trying to get intouch with her. By that time she said the car had already shipped and they would not be able to refund my full deposit. I found them unprofessional and would not recommend attempting to buy a car with them.

      These people are an absolute joke they are crooks entire company should be liquidated.I was sold a 2016 Hyundai ******** under false pretenses, I was told the vehicle ran perfectly fine that their would be no issues.2 years later my engine died for now reason at all, I took it too the dealership an was told my engine is not covered in the warranty.I am now seeking legal action so this cannot happen to anyone else.

      I went to purchase a 2018 Hyundai Elantra , with $1500 down deposit on 10/25/2021. They said in order for me to get my car I needed to trade in the car I have now. They took my TITLE and told me to switch over my insurance in order for them to send over the Insurance binder. It is now November 11th I have called empire Hyundai 3 times asking for the sales person who sold me my car and every time they claim he isn't in. I have told them I am driving around with No title or insurance, being told I would have my car in a week. Now I definitely expected to have temp plates for this matter or something but they just simply don't care. I work 50 hours a week and need my car to get to work desperately, reasons I came here was because my car is in no condition to be on the street, and I am still paying for damages on this car while about to pay insurance for a car I don't have in my possession and I was told I would have my car in no time. Now I am regretting not have spent my money else where! Will be telling all my friends and family to never come here again.

      Inquired online and got pre-approved for financing a Palisade. At 1pm today reached out to Ray and Mandi with the *** number to confirm the vehicle was still on the lot-both confirmed it was. My husband went to the dealership at 4pm and was told the vehicle had sold and was not in the lot. They then tried to sell us a more expensive version. He left and I called Mandi to ask how this could have happened. I was placed on hold for ten minutes as she said it still showed as available on her screen. I was then told I would get a call back and did not. I then received an email from ******* thanking us for coming in and attaching information on the vehicle we looked at and it was in fact the vehicle I wanted, but we by no means looked at it and were told it wasnt there. Poor customer service, poor communication and a terrible experience. We get it-dealerships have the upper hand right now but people dont deserve to be lied to and have their time wasted.

      Made the mistake of coming into this dealership today, they said my 2020 **** Fusion was worth ***** when I was looking at a new Santa Fe and palisade. Then somehow when I looked at there used lot my car was only worth *****, not to mention the used truck they showed me reeked of weed, had scratches all over it and gouges in the wheels, but they wanted ***** above Kbb value. When I declined their offer the bald sales manager called me stupid, I left before things escalated
