NeuEon is looking for an experienced business development professional to assist in the continued growth of the company.  NeuEon is a services organization and provides valuable domain expertise to our clients.  As a result, each relationship is unique.  The ideal candidate must be able to be creative in articulating our value proposition in a way that resonates to each potential client.  The role of the business development manager is a hybrid between marketing and sales and must possess the following qualities:

  • Experience selling technical service offerings to C-Level executives.
  • Understanding of how small businesses operate, what keeps the owners up at night.
  • Proven experience in developing account penetration and development strategies, conducting cold calls, qualifying prospects, leading technical directors in sales process and strategy, making sales presentations, closing techniques, and developing service and pricing proposals.
  • Broad knowledge of the full technology landscape, including
  • Enterprise software
  • Small business software suite: SFA/CRM, Accounting/ERP, vertical industry specific applications a plus
  • Software Development Lifecycles (ie.SCRUM, Waterfall, RUP)
  • Cloud Computing - general understanding plus benefits and risks to organizations
  • IT Governance
  • IT structure and the role of IT
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities through the use of technology.
  • Self-motivated individual who exhibits a sense of urgency in all sales- and service-related activities.
  • Aptitude for learning and absorbing new information quickly.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven outside direct sales experience with focus in consultative and solution oriented sales approaches.


  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business— including target campaign strategy development, cold calling, prequalification, coordination of presentations and proposals, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct prospect sales calls both independently and jointly with management and staff.
  • Track all prospects, leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities in corporate CRM tool.
  • Develop, manage and grow new and existing territories.  We are looking for hunters not farmers.  Performance will be based on establishing new clients, not managing existing ones.
