The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either a) did not accept the response, OR b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction.

I have been trying to terminate my account with this company for years and even tried to have payment blocked by my bank/credit card. I havent used ths software or installed the product in years. They have absolutely no support contacts on their website. In the past, I was completely unable to log into my account. Now I can log in but they have made it impossible to follow these instructions: ******************************************************************************************************* There is no manage option when you log in and you cant update/remove credit card info without putting in new payment info. There are others complaining of the same thing in the reviews on the BBB site. I would like a refund for the services I have not used or at the bare minimum some way to cancel the subscription.

Horrible support if you're having any kind of issue with their product. Impossible to reach a human being despite messages left to them stating that we needed help retrieving backed up data from their site. I have since removed my credit card info which will keep the auto-renew from occurring.I worked in the I.T. industry for 30 years and have long recommended Carbonite. No more. I have contacted all 360 members and told them to cancel their subscriptions telling them of my plight in detail.

We were able to connect with this customer and he is happy now.

Customer was able to start his own restore and everything with that appears to be working well. It looks like he found the wrong phone number when he called previously. We stayed on the line while he tested the correct phone number and he was satisfied with this. We now have an open case with him as he will be calling back when the restore finishes for further assistance.
