Beware of this dealer. They add expensive unnecessary add-ons to the vehicles (brake flashers, VIN etching, pixie dust) prior to sale without mentioning it anywhere. Unless you specifically ask prior, you will only see the cost of them when you are ready to sign. A lot of dealerships do similar things; however, *****'s know you are likely coming from ***** and are less likely to turn down a deal if you just drove an hour to see a car. Your only option is to drive back to *****. ******** is much more honest.

I sought help for a service bulletin code on my 2010 Prius at the service department on 2/2/23. The service Department ignored the Toyota produced bulletin and stated my car wasn't currently giving a code. 4 hours later I was told I had a "blown head gasket" with a stated +block test. I was charged $158.00 for diagnostics, given a service estimate of $4000, or a $12,000 new engine repair. I requested a refill of low coolant to get 2 hours back home to consider my options. I have had 2 mechanics (one a Toyota dealer) repeat diagnostic tests in March ************************* July 2023. I was told by both, not a head gasket issue. There were Negative block and and coolant pressure tests documented after *****'s said it was positive. The Toyota mechanic, at a different facility, found a leak in the coolant reservoir cap and for $40 replaced it. No leak since in spite of mountain driving challenges. I sent a written grievance via email to the customer service manager at *****'s, there was no response. 4 days later I made phone contact. Manager ********************* stated email was received but no reason given for no response. When asked for compensation for additional testing done stated "that's not going to happen." When asked for other solutions, he could offer none.

I am currently being taken advantage of at the Ontario Toyota Dealership. Its started off on 12/17/22. When I called in to check the price on car. We were told the price was $10,900 when I arrived on Monday 12/19/22 to test drive the car and start the process. They said the car was now $12,900. At that point the car had not been processed or inspected and they would need it for a few days. They offered me $100 for my car on a trade in. I noticed a leak and bald unsafe tires on the car and asked if those issues would be fixed and addressed. They said it would. There was a transfer case leak, a new button need to be replaced for the window on the passenger side fixed. I called to check the status of the car. No one ever called me back every time I called they were out to lunch. I found it better to go in in person. They rushed the entire signing process to get me out the door. They sold the car on an empty tank of gas the fluids were frozen and wiper fluid didnt work and was empty when I got it. The salesman said he get me some gas while I was signing. Then when he brought me the keys and shook my hand he realized he didnt get gas he handed me $20 cash instead. It was dark and cold and on empty. Not safe to drive away like that in my opinion. They did not fix the button on the passenger side and they did not give me in writing everything they said they said they would and what was included in the Toyota Inspection Everything from the very beginning was rushed and dishonest. After a few days of driving the car three check engine lights came on the dash and I drove strait to the dealership. They said they reset the codes because the computer would not read it and I could come get my car. All they did was clear the codes. They could not even read the codes or diagnose them. They drove the car 20 miles and told me to come get it. I dont now how Toyota could make this right. Im not sure if they are discriminating because Im a women or because Im by racial.
