It isn't often that you see the president of a company working. I met Terry Smith today to check a possible collapsed sewer line and he gave me the BEST news a plumber possibly could. After scoping & tracing our house sewer deep into the back yard, he came back to tell me that the small swamp between me & my neighbor wasn't my problem. We Were Fine!!! I've found our forever Baton Rouge plumber. Good crews. Responsive. Good call-backs. Thanks Terry!!! Glad to meet you

I had 2 issues: leaking tub faucet and a stinking toilet. I bought nice fixtures for the tub faucets, but they refused to use them. Instead, they used some super cheap fixtures. The two young plumbers had to leave twice to "get another tool"; otherwise, the job would not have lasted more than an hour. They said that they could not find anything wrong with the toilet. The plumbers then told me that the job was $600. He explained that it was the scale for changing out a faucet, and he doesn't set the scale. He then took off $100 for breaking some pottery that was on a shelf in the bathroom. I checked with a relative who's a plumber out of town, and he said that the job should not have cost more than $250.

Mr. ******* purchased a single lever tub faucet to replace a 2-handle tub faucet. The plumbers explained to Mr. ******* that to replace the 2-handle tub faucet with a single lever tub faucet a section of his tile tub surround would have to cut out and patched following the installation. A lot of people don't realize the valve body is located in the wall behind the tub. He did not want to pay for this. The plumbers told him they could rebuild the faucet and replace the tub trim for $700.00. He agreed to this option as per the signed job invoice. They left to pick-up the material to rebuild the faucet. We alway use manufacturer specified material. Later we had to leave again to pick-up a tool for the faucet stem that was seized in the valve body and we could not remove. We did not charge extra for the additional time spent. Even though Mr. ********** repair took far longer than anticipated, we not only honored our quote but, gave him a $100.00 discount. Regarding Mr. ********** reference to the technicians age, the licensed plumber is 35 years old and the apprentice is in his twenties. Regarding the comment about someone quoting an unseen job for $250..00. Considering the material allowance was $175.00 along with the initial service fee and over 3 hours spent, that individual would have lost a lot of money.

Again, I had my own faucets for the bathtub. They were nice Moen faucets. Not only did I explain this to the office, but I handed them to the plumbers when they arrived. I clearly explained that I wanted to replace the leaking faucet with the Moen faucets which I had purchased. No one ever quoted me a price for anything. I explained to the plumbers that I wanted a quote to restore a different bathroom. I watched them message ***** to request a quote for restoration. They said that ***** was out and would get back to me on Monday. I never heard from *****. They didn't honor the quote because the invoice was actually $600, not $700.00. Then, he graciously gave me a discount of $100 because he broke. AGAIN, THERE WAS NEVER A QUOTE. If the "material allowance" was $175, then I got ripped off again because those faucets were super cheap and totally lacking in quality. My point is that the actual work time for the project, which again was changing out a leaking faucet, was actually more like 30 to 40 minutes. Remember, they left twice to supposedly get parts and to get a tool. If you don't have what you need, then you shouldn't charge for having to go get it. It's really frustrating because I already purchased the faucets. I asked to talk to ***** but was told that he was on the Plumbing Commission (like I was supposed to be impressed) and was too busy.

I am compelled to write this review in the hopes that others would not have a similar fate. I am so disappointed in this company and how I was treated by the owner and his assistant. This company was negligent in that they did nothing to contain the debris that the work required would surely generate and as a result the majority of my 2 story home was inundated with the most dust and debris I had ever seen. Every surface, doorknob and crevice was filthy with grime and dirt including the stairwell. I walked into a nightmare. It looked like a dust bomb had exploded. And what was so deplorable is that I was not told anything by the company. I was out of my home while repairs were done and noticed my alarm system was off so I decided to stop by. When I walked in I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so full of dust it was hazy to see only a few feet in front of me. I soon began to cough and my nose and throat were irritated. I stayed and took pictures as long as I could take it which wasn't very long because I felt suffocated. I saw that some of the electricity in the home was off, which of course, I was not told by the company, but they had cut an electrical line. I tried reaching out to the owner to see what happened. I got no verbal response initially from him. I sent emails when my request to speak to him personally was being ignored by the owner, and included pictures of all the debris and dust and the only response he initially gave to me to resolve the issue was sarcastically "I will be glad to change your filters", clearly disregarding the severity of the debris and damage.
The air conditioning was running when I entered so it was obvious debris and dust had circulated throughout the home and duct work. I was so disturbed I could not sleep. I asked, begged, pleaded and finally demanded they clean up and at every turn I was met with resistance. I had to plead and beg and never once did the owner speak directly to me until toward the end of the repair work when I walk in and to my surprise my silk curtains which had to be taken to a cleaners by the company because there was caked on debris as they were nearest to where the drilling took place were destroyed by multiple rips, each and every one. I was told "oh that is what happens to silk" but the point is they would not have needed to be cleaned had the plumber not taken every measure to contain the debris and dust. In addition he used a "friend" who to clean the curtains who blamed it on sun damage. The plumber made no effort to even attempt to make restitution for the damage or file a claim with his own insurance and even though he and assistant never laid eyes on the curtains before they were cleaned had the nerve to insinuate they were already damaged therefore why should he be responsible. How irresponsible? The owner even had the audacity to state that in the past homeowners used their own insurance to cover the cleaning- even though he caused it- leaving the customers the burden to make claims that may or may not be granted.

This business refused to take ownership of their mishaps and constantly made excuses, even blaming the work that needed to be done as to the reason for all the debris and dust and stating repeatedly how "they bent over backwards". No they did not. And if I had not discovered these problems I would not have known about them until long after the damage was done. Even after 2 house cleanings the dust still remains. I am still finding dust in many places. I was told by his assistant ****** that the day of the major work being done an inexperienced worker was there unsupervised. It would have been best to delay the work then to cause all the damage that was done because in the end there was so much debris that the floor work and other repairs were delayed anyway because clean up needed to be done.
This was a horrible experience and I so regret ever working with them. I must warn others that you must make absolutely sure that who ever does work in your home you get it in writing that they will contain any dust and debris they make either with a tarp or makeshift wall, even better in addition use equipment that helps contain dust, and get it in writing that they will clean up all debris and dust. But be warned about this company, however as my contract says debris clean up will be done but the owner astoundingly didn't want to admit that all the caked on dust was in fact DEBRIS so be very careful before choosing this business as they were not upfront about the damages and complications and very unwilling to clean up their mess. I had to discover all their mishaps on my own and I had to keep pleading for a resolution. And I was constantly made to feel like my complaints were unjustified and that they had done absolutely nothing wrong or negligent. If I could give negative 100 stars I would. As a customer my concerns were disregarded and I had to work entirely too hard to get to get any remediation or respect. They should be ashamed how they treated their customer and on top of that threaten to take a lien on my home if not paid the final bill even though a resolution to the final damages had not been done!!! Outrageous and unprofessional. Very discourteous. I will never use them again.

Ms. *** ***** mistaken my kindness and goodwill for weakness. After ******** ******** advised her that her drapes were terribly sun damaged due to age and lack of care, she approached me to file a false claim with my insurance carrier for her to get a new set of drapes. I informed her that I was not going to commit insurance fraud and here we are. We completed our water line replacement in the slab per our scope of work. She now has a functional island kitchen sink and her home is in great condition. We even assured Ms. *** ***** not to worry. We received our final payment and did not file a lien against her home.

The owner ofcourse fails to address any of the legitimate truthful and accurate complaints: failure to contain the debris and dust causing enormous contamination and debris in my home of 3500 feet and resistance to clean this up without pleading and insisting and leaving it up to me to address his failures with my insurance company and never disclosing to me the damage. He fails to addesss the fact that he told me himself he knows nothing about drapes and he never disclosed that he never laid eyes on my drapes and are using the excuses given by his so called friend the dry cleaner that sun damage caused the drapes to be ripped. He fails to address the fact that was it but for his own negligence the drapes would not have to have be cleaned. He fails to realize that has a professional granted a license to practice and with his own liability insurance that he is obligated to remedy damages caused to a customer's home that he caused without having the homeowner fend for himself. He was looking to protect himself from any penalty HE might incur that would hurt his business due to disclosure of negligence if he filed a claim with his own insurance. He also fails to address the facts pointed out that the debris and dust, the cutting of electrical line, the damage of curtains, were never ever disclosed by him and all discovered by myself and reported to him. He fails to address why an inexperienced worker was doing a job without proper supervision. He has been deceitful, dishonest, and is trying to attack my integrity to cover up for his own lack of decency and integrity. It's no wonder he doesn't address any of the issues because he has no defense other than to distort the truth . Pictures before and after the damage of drapes, show the quality of the drapes and show the enormous dust and debris he left. Very sad and disturbing to have to have gone through such an ordeal. I wish this on no one. Not only did the owner give excuses but his assistant who happened to disclose she is a sibling, doubled down on excuses and sent a reprehensible email to me that no business should send to a customer to justify their own mistakes, especially after being paid over $10,000 for services that caused such damage and tremendous inconvenience to a customer that already was forced to be away from the home. He made what should have been routine a nightmare. The only fraud being committed is that by himself by his false allegations and lies directed toward myself.

Our initial contractual scope of work was saw cutting (2) 24" x 24" points of access underneath the island sink and kitchen sink cabinet. It was expected the concrete was an industry standard of 4" in thickness. After the 1st day we found the concrete was 19" throughout for unknown reasons. I contacted Ms. ***** to make her aware of the situation and to assure her that despite the scope of work changing, her cost would not increase. When she expressed her concern over the additional debris, I had her home professionally cleaned. Our contract states "We will remove and haul away any debris that we generate, but we are not responsible for any additional cleaning".

The professional cleaning that this company offered was one of two that were required and that came only after asking, begging, pleading and trying to get the owner to understand and look at the enormous damage and debris he caused. The cleaning also came after his sister said she would come with sweep the debris, grossly underestimating the damage. It was she who eventually saw how much damage was done and also agreed that a second cleaning would be needed-that was not paid for by them. If the company had contained the dust in the first place it would not have mattered how many inches of drilling would have been needed and in addition a company should plan for the unexpected. I also disagree with the owners statements : he was not kind so there is no mistaking of his kindness and the only weakness being shown is his weakness of character by blaming the work, blaming the customer, and anything else for the damages instead of taking ownership himself and for his dishonest statements regarding the damages and lack of being upfront with the damages. A customer shouldn't be made to feel like they are the burden for simply asking for what should not have to be asked for in the first place(to clean up your mess and make amends for damages) or made to feel they are the cause of the company's mistakes and he failed to realize or empathize with the enormous strain, damage, burden and inconvenience his company's actions caused to me as a customer. Definitely Made a stressful situation worse. Poor customer service.
