I had shoulder surgery on 2/9/22. On 2/11/22 went to lewy physical therapy ( doctors orders) when I saw the therapist she removed bandages and asked how long ago did I have surgery I said two days ago and she said she has never worked on someone only two days out. She and I did not feel comfortable with this. She put four band aids.on my shoulder. It was decided that it would be best for me to contact my doctor to be sent to different physical therapy. My doctor contacted lewy physical therapy and we’re told same thing. I was sent to a different PT clinic. I received a bill from lewy and called them to dispute it. I spoke with **** several times over the next few months. Nothing was ever done and in aug **** no longer works for lewy. My Ins was billed over $200 and I was billed $109.46. Last week ( 2/7/23 )I received a debt collection notice. I called lewy about this and all they would say is, they provided service. I tried to explain again what was done , that therapist did not do anything. Again I was told services were provided. I got angry with her ( I didn’t curse her but I did get loud, which Iam sorry for ) trying to explain services were not because the therapist was not qualified to do the job . She hung up on me , I called back and was told someone would contact me. They have not but the debt collector keeps calling. I don’t feel I owe this debt because lewy pt provided a therapist that was not able to do the job. This was a the Gonzales location.
