July 22,2023 3pm Sold a necklace, nose ring, and nose piercing for $1090 Myself & boyfriend entered jewelry store, 4 clerks standing around and asked if they did nose piercings the clerk immediately stated yes. For 15 minutes I proceeded to ask questions, he stated he does them all the time, it would be $90 which would include the nose ring. I picked out the nose ring asked if the process was painful, he showed me the tool used to do it and said it was not painful. He then asked if I would like I stated yes. He told me to sit in a chair across the room. I went and sat and proceeded to ask more questions about the needle tool if it was clean- he stated yes and rewipes with the alcohol wipe stating it’s super clean. We paid the total. I let him draw the dot, an older manager came by and he asked if the dot was in the right position and he corrected it stating it needed to be more inward. I then proceeded to let them pierce my nose. I assumed the tool had the nose ring I had picked out but when he was done he handed me my nose ring in a ziploc and told me to wait 3 weeks before swapping out the nose ring. I asked why he did not put in my nose ring he stated the process was to put in the temp then swap at 3 weeks. Provided no cleaning instructions or products, nor did I sign a waiver. The piercing did not hurt. Over the next 4 days I noticed the “nose ring started to sink & the whole became larger. I then begin to google nose rings and saw it was not like nose rings or sitting correctly. I could not self remove. I called tattoos shops and they told me from my description that it was a ring that needed to be taken out immediately and that no jewelry shop is authorized to do nose rings and he used a earring tool on my nose. July 27th I went to a tattoo/piercing shop and the pierce artist removed and confirmed- earring, he used a improper unsanitary tool, and inputted crooked so it was cutting into my hole further. Shop took no accountability, disguised on receipt.

Boyfriend called jewelry store July 27th they attempted to stated that I must of had an allergic reaction they do improper/illegal nose rings 3x a day with a earring gun and haven’t had any issues. They only offered to redo the nose piercing with the wrong tool and wrong nose ring. No apology, no accountability, no awareness of wrong doing or severity of action
