On April 21, 2022, my wife and I hired Central Fence & Gates to install an electric gate and iron fence at our home. Power for the electric gate was to come from an outlet under our kitchen sink. On May 23, 2022, after installing the fence and gate, when the installer went to drill a hole through the wall under the sink to run the power cable from the gate, he discovered we didn't have an available A/C outlet. He said to call him after we get another outlet installed under the sink and he would come back and connect the power cable to it. As a temporary solution to power the gate he ran the power cable along the ground on the outside of the house and plugged it into an outlet under the carport. He then asked for full payment of $12,815 and we foolishly paid him taking his word that he would return to finish the job. On May 31, 2022, at 8:59 AM we called the installer letting him know the outlet was installed. He said he would come out and run the power under the kitchen sink by the end of the week. By the end of the week, he hadn't shown up or called. On June 6, 2022, at 8:22am we called the installer again and he said he would be out the next morning June 7, 2022, around 8 AM. Again, he didn't show up or call. On June 7, 2022, at 9:30 AM we called the installer and left a voicemail. He returned our call at 1:28pm and said he would come out later that afternoon. Again, he didn't show up or call. Since then we have called the installer several times, and he has not returned our calls. The owner is not answering calls or texts and his voice mailbox is full both at his office and on his personal cell phone. If Central Fence & Gates does not send someone out to finish the job, we will take legal action against them.
