I went to have a neurological/psychological test ran at the Neuromedical Center. I met with Dr. ***** for my first visit paid cash zero balance then on November 28 I went in to have the test done which was a four hour test paid cash zero balance at that visit I had had surgery and was on medication and was in pain so they told me I could come back to finish the test and that I would not be charged again that I had already paid for my test to be done so I came back on the date that they told me to come back and finished my test I did not get charged anything. No one ever told me there was gonna be another charge when I came back from my next appointment to get the doctor to tell me what the test said is my understanding that I had paid everything I needed to pay for the test. on 1221 I went in to see Dr. ***** and she gave me the test results. No one asked for payment at the at the time I checked in no one said anything about me owing anything and then yesterday I got a bill in for $2948.$.14. I called this morning and spoke to a young lady in billing named Jenifer and she called me back and said I now owe $657.50 because they charging me for my visit on 12/21 $1315.00 and they gave me a discount of half off. I am disputing discharge because I feel like I should have been told exactly what this test was gonna cost me and I was never told they always got payment when I checked in and whenever I went for the reading of the test, no one asked for money, so I assumed it was already paid for in the previous payment for the test, I would like your help with this to be resolved in my favor where I would not pay them anymore money. I feel as though I do not owe anything because I would’ve never had this test. Had I known that it was gonna cost me right at $2000 to have it.
