My bathroom had mold in the ceiling and needed extensive repair. Management informed me that they will work on it at their convenience but could not assist me with other living arrangements until the repairs were done. Thus, I had to move out at the last minute. Renter beware!!!!

I moved out June 30, 2021 and I still have not received my deposit. Judy, the apartment manager, informed me there are new owners as of October 2021. Well I was suppose to receive my deposit by September 2021. I called every week and she finally tells me this and states she cannot give any information on the old owners.

Canterbury Square leased an apartment to me without disclosing that the apartment was infested with roaches and rats. The apartment manager sent someone out at move in to spray after I discovered the roach and I bombed with Raid deep infestation poison and there is still roaches all over. The food in my cabinets along with plastic condiment bottles were eaten through by rats and large droppings of rat feces were left all over. This was discovered Saturday October 2, 2021. I spoke with the apartment manager to release me from my lease as my children cannot visit me in these deplorable living conditions on Tuesday October 5,2021 and they refused. They told me I could leave but I would be breaking their lease with none of my money returned to me. My lease had nothing written saying that I was agreeing to live in these conditions. This is a grave health concern and the health department should and inspect. I need to get out of this apartment without penalty. This is unfair & awful business. I found rat feces and roaches in the bed after they supposedly put poison down and closed holes that were not closed before I move in and THEY STILL WOULDNT LET YOU OUT MY LEASE OR GIVE ME MONEY BACK
