The worst customer service experience of my life. I called the previous day and they said there was nothing they could do to lower the price from $165 for my internet despite having been a customer for years. Today I called to tell them I had already signed up with a different provider and the agent continued to go on about how their service was better and that I was going to be paying less but would have more issues. Feeling like I was getting no where, I then asked to speak to the manager but he said that he couldn't do that. He then proceeded to go on about how their service was superior. When I interrupted to say I just wanted to cancel, he said "I am the one talking right now". I was so angry I just hung up and tried again with a different agent where I was finally able to cancel my service. If this is how they treat people I am very happy to be done with Bell.Review from Patrick D

Absolutely the most horrific experience of my life. These customer services representatives are degrading and absolutely useless. I’m a professional and can not believe this company allows such employees. You get a representative and they treat you horrible for no reason. Asking me what my internet speed was in order to verify my account. Who even knows that? Was told to call back tomorrow. Don’t worry, I am calling back tomorrow and cancelling this time.Review from Joshua B

Was told they would come between 8-5 today to fix the Bell line outside and then after two phone calls and calling again at 4:15pm they told me I’d have to wait until Monday (today is Friday) due to heavy workload. Now I’m without internet for the weekend and I work Monday to Friday. RidiculousReview from Jordan D

Terrible people to deal with for anything. Can’t pay your bill or use any of their sites from your phone correctly. Zero customer service. Zero cell service about anywhere besides Halifax in Nova Scotia. Always a hassle and a headache to try and pay my bill. Literally need to get into a computer and pay with cc that way cause heaven forbid their site loads on their network on an ****** 15. Do yourselves a favour and stay far far away from these people. Don’t fall for their 1.5 fibre op scam either. You get about half of that. Wifi is terrible, you get like 250 down and 350 upload ??. And my tech blatantly told that’s about the best they get so yeah.. not sure how it’s possible to advertise 1.5 gig internet and deliver an 1/8th.Review from Jeffrey H

Wish I could give them a -3 but I cant, I called bell alinat to resolve a modem issue they told me they were going to send me the latest modem with the newest firmware etc I looked up the best model they had and they were trying to send me the exact same one I already have. I called again and after 3 different customer service reps and a request to speak to a supervisor inwhich they never called back, I finally got the correct modem being sent within 5 minutes of speaking to the guy. he then advised me he could extend my offer for another 12 months and it would cost me $6 more a month. I said fine it will lock me into that price instead of going back to the regular $120 or wahtever it was. I was then browsing on their website and seen a deal for 1.5Gb internet for $85 a month which is what i am now paying for 150mbps internet which is nowhere near the same speeds etc. I called back and told them I wanted the same deal how can you rip people off by offering a cheaper price to new peopl and gouging your exhisting customers. They didnt want to help told me shes the one who made decisions and didnt have a boss I Could speak to, How are they allowed to do that your denying my request to speak to your boss that should be illegal this is a democracy not a communist country. Long story short stay away from Bell Aliant if you can ya cant even seem to file a complaint against them in anyway probably paid off. most unprofessional ignoranty customer service i EVER spoke to. s** ******* ** **** ** ********** ********* *** ***********Review from Lisa Z

My business landline went down on December 19, 2023 during the wind/rain storm here in Nova Scotia. I called Bell Aliant and they sent out a repair person. He found out the cable was snapped off at the pole and needed to be repaired by the cable guys. This has been an ongoing problem, however, Bell Aliant says they do not have fibre lines for business. I have been told that the cable repair people will not be fixing my business landline until January 3, 2024. Two plus weeks without a business landline. Bell Aliant saw fit to raise my business bundle by $20 per month plus HST a few months back, but for what, I no idea. This is the worst service I've ever received from Bell Aliant and I've had some very bad service over the years. I have asked for a credit on my bill and I'm being told that I have to call back after my service is fixed and they'll credit my bill for the days of lost service. So the ball is in my court and I have to call and wait on hold yet again and beg for credits to my bill. I even sent an e-mail to Bell Aliant's escalation department last Friday and have heard nothing back. Extremely disappointed that Bell Aliant considers any of this to be good customer service.Review from Andrew M

They are horrible, don't believe a word they say . I was promised new receivers for fibe tv , out of stock at the time, 5 weeks later in stock, but they want me to pay for the upgrade and my negotiated free receivers are no longer free. The ones I have are 8 years old. Totally disgusted with them. I've will be changing serviceReview from Matthew C

As an Internet customer, I have experiences numerous network errors of the last few weeks. Each time getting conflicting answers from support. I was told it was an outage with no estimated time for services to be restored. 3 days later, I learned there was no outage it was a programming error, weeks later to find out it was a modem issue. I was told a modem was shipped out to replace the faulty one. Days later confirmed modem was in transit. Days later found out it was never shipped. Just a miserable experience. A lot of support reps (not all) will do anything to get a customer off the phone, including providing false information. To date the issue still has no been resolve, no one has taken responsibility or offered a remedy. Avoid Bell Aliant at all costs.Review from Lisa M

Done with Bell. Will never give my business to them after 20 years being a loyal client. Moving and my services would be 70 more due to no Fibre Op. Stay away, they are ****** and don't care about their clients and have the worst customer service.Review from Robert H

It's routine that we have to reset our box in order to get our wifi and tv up and running if resetting our devices doesn't work. And that's on average once a week to once every 2 weeks. Plus this was a new box after resetting the old one was averaging every 2-3 days. We have a 4k tv box and an HD TV box, and the latter can no longer play *******. We asked if we could get another 4K box, only 1 box per account. In short, Bell Aliant is proving time and time again we are better off WITHOUT them. The only reason we are sticking with them is because of seeking out another provider, and those providers don't exactly have impressive reviews.
