Took my car in for service September 19, 2023 I took my are in for service for a rear brake like passengers side not working as well my FOB was not working with start button. Over the next 4 months Hyundai kept my car and completed several attempts at fixing. On October 27, 2023 they called and said car was fixed and i could pick up. I went and paid, my car was outside turned on ready for me to take. I went home, parked my car and did not know my brake lights were still on. When I went down next morning battery was dead due to lights being on. This as a Friday afternoon when I picked up my car. I waited all weekend to Monday October 30, 2023 morning called CAA they boosted my car and towed to Hyundai while car was turned on to boost the battery. My car was delivered to Hyundai turned on and drivable except the brake lights were illuminated. I could not drive myself as it is against the law to drive a car on public highway with illuminated lights. On January 17, 2024 (the day my mother passed) I received a call from Hyundai stating they want their loaner car back. I said I was in Toronto mom just passed and would call when I get back. On January 29, 2024 I received a call from ***** ***** General Manager Parkway Hyundai demanding that I bring back the loaner, Pay $702.00 and take my car as they cannot fix it. January 30, 2024 Called Hyundai Customer Relations, to date nothing has been resolved to acknowledged. On February 1, 2024 I received a call from a guy named ***** from Hyundai Parkway, again demanding loaner back, said would wave the $702 but I had to take my car off their property. To date I have not taken my car. They made it clear to me my car is parked where there is no cameras and I would be responsible if something happened to me car before I picked it up.
