Maritime Business College is apart of the Better Business Bureau of Nova Scotia, but this school is not accredited by them. Which by definition, your complaints will fall unto deaf ears. This school does not have the capacity to educate anyone. The teacher I had for the Paralegal course, was s substitute teacher, who didn't have a license to instruct. From what I understood, the previous class, she was degrading, calculating and would destroy your grade in a minute. There was many students who tried to get her fired, complained to the principal. All the complaints were fell onto deaf years. Like many students who attended this school, you are made to sign a contract. It was incredibly stupid because it just keeps in line with their policies. No university or college, does not do this. The only way you would sign a contract, if when you are placed on a academic probation. When I was there, I kicked out because I failed a supplemental. It was ridiculous. The teacher failed me on purpose so she could get rid of me. I left in January of 2020, before the Covid-19 crisis. I was told that they would save me my spot if I choose. I did not. I told them I was not returning. I was NOT going pay them more.
