            August 23, 2021, CAD 228.85 The business cleaned a dryer duct and left a mess on the deck outside the vent through which the business gained access to the dryer duct. The business vacuumed the deck superficially and left a great deal of debris with the assurance that rain would clean the deck. After heavy rain, the debris remained and was difficult to remove. Two hours were expended cleaning the deck. The deck is new, and, before the duct cleaning, had never been used. After the duct cleaning, there was an entirely new gouge out of the deck surface. No other cause for the gouge but the actions of the business is apparently possible. The business was to deliver a quote on Venmar duct cleaning and never delivered the quote and sent no explanation. This indifference seems consistent with the casualness of the clean-up effort. Conversation with the business indicated no willingness to offer any solution or settlement.
