Sub-par care and OVERPRICED! Ill never return. There are too many options to deal with this.

Worst vet care I have ever experienced! This practice had been my primary vet since my dog's very first visit as a puppy over 5 years ago. Never had any issues and kept up on all routine care and vaccinations. However, this Xmas he became suddenly ill and the treatment we received from Lavista Animal Hospital was deplorable! Complaints range from things as simple as rudeness and lack of communication/follow-up to care that was astonishingly abysmal. ***************, ** is the WORST vet I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. He is unwilling to accept questions when advocating for your pet, unable to admit when something is outside of his apparently very narrow range of knowledge, and smug and dismissive to his human clientele. His care was negligent, at best, and grossly incompetent at worst. My dog was doing well on a treatment plan prescribed by the diagnosing vet in the practice a week earlier. However, for some unknown reason, for our follow up visit we were assigned to ***************, ** and everything he did and said completely contradicted what his colleague had told us the week before and what I had researched on my own. We were never to see or hear from the diagnosing vet, again, despite several requests and attempts to do so. Two days after being "treated" by ***************, ** my dog was dead. While I will stop short of saying that ***************, ** killed my dog, there is no doubt that his treatment was the catalyst that led to my dog's rapid decline. If my pet had been human and received this level of treatment, ***************, ** would be under investigation and his license to practice medicine would be at risk. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!
