I believe ********** has engaged in deceptive marketing practices. I'm curious how many customers showed up at ********** locations around ***************** expecting to purchase double cheeseburgers at $0.50 on National Cheeseburger Day, only to find out this was a bait and switch. Even more frustrating is showing up with a vehicle load of kids just out of school, football practice, or any other activity where kids and teenagers ask to go to **********, and then finding out that the cost of feeding these kids is triple or more. So then I had a choice: either disappoint the kids or pay for the produce at the regular price because the staff was not budging on the pricing concern. As such, with my experience, I showed up with four players from my daughter's soccer team, each wanting two double cheeseburgers and four fries. I only had $20.00, which is my fault. I ran out of practice without my wallet but had $20.00 in the vehicle. The $20.00 would have been enough if the pricing promotion had been honored. Instead, I had to have the four players get one cheeseburger and then split two large fries. It would have been enough to feed them if the bait-and-switch pricing had been When I challenged store staff about this concern, the workers informed me there wasn't anything that could be done, and the store manager on duty did not have time to speak with frustrated customers.
