              My original appointment was on ***** but due to being on the waitlist I was moved up to the 12th less than 24 hours prior to the appointment. I rearranged my schedule and took off of work and drove over an hour for a 11:15am appointment. I arrived at 11:20am, and was told to wait while they checked on something. After about 10 minutes I was called back up and informed that they could not see me because I was 5 minutes late and had me complete a Request for Assistance Form which no one has called me back as of yet regarding this form. Never in my life have I ever been turned away at a medical practice for being 5 minutes late. Medical practices normally provide a 15-minute ***** ******* Currently, the next available appointment is not until the end of May. It would have been nice to know that they pick and choose when ***** periods are granted. I have driven miles on miles, used a lot of gas, taken time off of work, and I am still in pain. There was nothing acceptable or professional about this visit and I feel disregarded.
