            I have had the same problem with your company several times. I have never known a company that does not give notice before disconnecting service. Nor have I ever experienced a company that WANTS their customers to be without their services, and take days before they cut them services back on. These services are essential and Scana doesnt care that much about their customers that they will try not to make it convenient for their customers to pay before they will disconnect their services. I am fully Paperless as most people are in 2023 and I do not look at mail. I also explained to them that I have issues with my mail carrier who does not give me my mail. So the only way that you all communicate if you will disconnect is via snail mail then you are but setting your customers up for success and your want us to pay a reconnect fee as well as be without service for days. I called in to see why when I log in to my Scana app, I see nothing about disconnect or that there is payment owed.. On top of that I asked why I didnt get any call about the disconnect.. your response was we have so many customers that we cant call everyone that is in danger of being disconnect. Wow!!! Another point that lets us know that you care nothing about us. Truly no one asked to get a call for everyone that is in danger of being disconnected, however where is the technology that can send an automated text, automated email, etc.. I am not impressed. Also you all need to work on training your team and teaching them humility are a time of need. I called at 6pm today and spoke with a young lady who was so pleasant and sympathetic of my issue. Her supervisor ******** needs more training. She was snappy and her esculent tone alone put my at an escalated mood which Im sure you all are but supposed to be doing that. When I asked to speak to a different person over her, ********* had a better attitude but she was no resolve I am so disappointed in Scanas customer service.

            Scana Energy,is a rip off.... I paid these ppl over $600 in 2 months,and I only have a water heater and furnace in my resident that run off gas... Plus,I am never home,since I travel with my job

            We are sorry you feel this way. Your increased usage over the past couple of months is due to the cooler weather we experience from December - February each year. Your usage is inline based on previous years consumption. This information is available to you online through MyAccount. Since you travel for your job, you may want to consider lowering your thermostat or installing a programmable thermostat and change the water heater to an energy saving or "vacation mode" setting. This will help lower your costs during those times you are away from home and not using the natural gas. If you need assistance with paying your bill, you may contact your local ************************ ************************************* to see if they have funds available to assist. If we may review further options, please call SCANA Energy at **************. Representatives are available Monday - Friday 7am - 8pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.
