I paid $639.56 for the coolant leak to be fixed which was extremely high in the first place. Got the vehicle home next day noticed a pool of coolant on the garage floor but they were closed as it was Sunday. I took the vehicle back on Monday morning and was told the better tech was there on that day and he would look at it. I get a call stating now I need to replace the water pump and thermostat and thermostat gage and would need to pay an additional $2655.14. I asked if it was the water pump leaking why did we replace the coolant reservoir and expansion tank hose. He raised his voice and said because it was broken. I was still going to let midas fix the vehicle but when I asked since I just paid $639.56 and nothing was fixed was there a better price I could get instead of the $2655.14 and was told no. Midas is charging $90.01 to pour a gallon of Coolant into the vehicle which is ridiculous. I told ******** sent the quote to another shop and they can complete the order for much less and I would have to take the vehicle to them if they can not come down from the $2655.14 as the other shop was over $1300 less and was told no so I had my vehicle towed to the other shop.
