On or about April 28, 2023, I rented a Boom lift in ********, ** do a service for one of my clients. The lift was rented for delivery on April 28, 2023, and to be returned on April 29, 2023. The project was completed, and Sunbelt was notified to do a pickup. The client reached out to my company on several occasions that the lift is still sitting in the yard. Our staff made contact with Sunbelt once more and advised that the boom lift is still sitting at the client's site. The client reached out to us for another service call a few weeks later. Our team contact sunbelt to reserve a new Boom Lift renal and it was that time we realized that the lift is still sitting at the ******* site and was never pick up. Our staff reserve the lift for 3 days. That would make it 5 days we used the Boom lift for. Sunbelt is billing us for 30 days when we only used the lift for 5 days. After we refused to pay for 30 days, Sunbelt went and place a lien on the Client's property, The client did not go into an agreement with Sunbelt for Sunbelt to place a lien on the client's property. This has caused our company to lose a million-dollar contract with our client. Sunbelt need to correct the billing for the 5 days the lift was used for and immediately remove the lien from the client's property.
