Do not use this company!!!! lied about delivery times. overcharged.took 30 days for delivery. Everything arrived wet and damaged!!! TV was smashed!!Some mold also This a real review by a customer, not a competitor!I repeat, do not use this company if you want everything destroyed and late.

It was delightful to meet the manager in person and he has provided complementary support on day one which has exceeded our expectations.

They are great and reasonably priced. A very reliable, friendly and respectful team. When they moved in, our house was neat and clean.

The crew was attentive to everyone, communicative and cooperative, making work more efficient. I would recommend their services to all!

We had the pleasure of hiring their movers for our recent move. Our movers were very careful, quick and pleasant and even assisted us in putting our table together.

Zero stars, rating doesnt go that low. Do not use this company. They tell you theyre giving you multiple discounts and provide a low estimate to get your commitment. However, once they have your downpayment your screwed. Any attempt to contact them is ignored. Legal action is your only recourse. My final bill was 4x higher than the original estimate. As for insurance coverage, anything less than 100% coverage is worthless and they make it expensive so no one will choose it. Read their webpage example of a $1000 stereo component weighing 10 pounds paying out $6 for the free included coverage. You will regret any dealings with Emerald. Even their claims are brokered out to ***************************** Another company that doesnt respond to calls or emails. Sure it says contact us for concerns or questions, it just doesnt reply to them. Oh, and one more bit of info they neglect to offer in advance. Have photos of every item before and after shipping AND keep all the packing materials until the claim is settled (min. 120 days) or your claim is void.There truly is no way this company could handle your shipment the way they do without being a scam. For example the inventory. This is how they price your cubic foot usage on the truck. They ask for the homes square footage then say, tell me what you see. as you walk through your home. You mention you have a bookcase, a dresser, a wardrobe etc. They estimate the space and give you a quote for that inventory list. As youll find out later this quote does not include shipping anything IN the bookcase, dresser, or wardrobe. That is additional space required since everything must be boxed per their rules (which they dont follow). So now your cf. has at least doubled. Inflating your cost. Theres no way this is accidental, forgetting to include or ask about items like clothing, cooking utensils, bedding, etc. They purposely ignore these items and press for down payment. Unmentioned $57 charge for credit card usage

This company is a scam. They outsourced my move to Global Movers LLC. Neither company would tell me where my belongings were for over 20 days. They are saying well we have only used 22 days of our delivery window 33 days after pick up. We all know trucks run 24/365, but only "business" days count. They took my first estimate of $7,900++ to over $22,000++ and charged me $800.00 packing because I packed every thing Took my belongings from **** to ********** for a haul to *******!!!!!! Lied, lied, lied. I have a disabled husband, and some of his equipment is on the truck and they know it. Because we are elderly they think they have us over a barrel, well, think again since I worked for trucking companies for over 15 yrs they are not dealing with people that know nothing. We have filed complaints in ****, **********, *******, **************, and with the Feds now with BBB. Hopefully someone will take notice and put them and Global out of business. Oh, and now I am being told a 3rd party is delivering my belongings. I am sure I will find that most of it has been ransacked and stolen because there has not been any safeguards put in place to protect the customer. BEWARE and use them at your own risk

I would never recommend this company. They dropped a cabinet off the back of the truck while loading it. They have had it repaired but I am having trouble getting the cabinet back. It has been almost 6 months and I am probably going to have to go to court to get it back. Cannot get a response to my text messages or emails. They also tore my couch in 3 places and it cannot be repaired because the torn places are frayed. It has to be recovered. The staff was nice, but I did not think I would have to fight to get what is mine. I would not recommend using this company.
