I am approaching two years in my new home built by Jeff Lindsey Communities. I initially fell in love with the stunning two story great room and huge kitchen.. but as time continues to pass I fall more and more in love with our home! The workmanship throughout the home is great, we've had very few, minor issues which were addressed by the warranty team in a timely manor. This home and the community are perfect for raising our two young boys; but once we become empty nesters, this house will be too large.. Our next, forever home; will without a doubt be a JLC home!

Stay away from **** Lindsey, he is a complete lair! **** builds poor quality homes. Doesnt come back to do warranty work. Oh and leaves subdivisions incomplete as he left ares with no pool or parks as promised.

This builder and its reps are extremely dishonest! After a 18+ month wait, JLC attempted to rush to close. They didnt follow their own process and used our dissatisfaction with their ineptness as a reason to pull out of the contract. They marketed gas, then told us it wasnt available. They would not address mold that was foundwould not address structural issues with basement cracksand had us do a final walk knowing the house was not ready. Bad drywall work, missing items from selected options not installed, mismatch appliances, and damaged cabinetry. This company missed closing 5 times and then tried to close with a rush. We showed great patience with JLC until we couldnt any longer. In my opinion, and by their actions, this was their way of canceling the contract to resell the home at a higher rate to someone else and try to recoup losses as a result of increased material costs. We lost the equity gain as a result of them pulling out. They attempted to force us to take the house As Is with no plan to repair those issues that were found in walkthrough or by independent inspections. I wish only bad things for JLC.I am not happy abt starting over; however, I am extremely happy we did not take possession of a newly built home that was of poor quality. I suspect there were going to be a lot of warranty issues. If you are considering working with this builder, ??. READ THE REVIEWS and find another builder. JLC is trash and should be investigated for their actions with buyers. I wish a negative rating could be given! I will take my ******* money and upgrade down payment and gladly work with a more professional builder. Buyer Beware! They will constantly fail to follow up and use your frustration with their mistakes as a means to say there are irreconcilable differences. Based on other comments, this behavior is common and a practice. Make sure you have a strong and professional agent as we did. They care little for the buyer experience!

As some of the other reviewers have already stated...if negative stars could be given for this terrible home building company, they would get a negative 5 star rating!After waiting 10 months for the home we contracted Jeff Lindsey Communities to build, THEY canceled our contract using the "disrespectful" clause because at what was supposed to be our final walkthru inspection we were not happy with the c*** they were trying to sell us!So we lost our home that we waited for 10 months to get built, lost the 10 months of appreciation we would have obtained...so that this builder could then turn around and sell this same crappy home for more money to another unsuspecting sucker!We entered into contract with JLC in April 2021 to build a home on Lot #** in **************** in ******, ** for ~$608k! We were told that our home builder, *****************, was very experienced and one of "the best they have". Well if **** is the best, I hate to see what the other **** Lindsey builders are throwing up!When we periodically toured the home, we saw so many shoddy workmanship items and what we thought were code violations that we decided that it would be in our best interest to hire a third party home inspector to check those things and to investigate things that we could not. That ended up being the BEST $500 I have EVER spent!I will even include a link to the building inspector's we received so you can see from a 3rd party's perspective what crappy work **** Lindsey does! But I would advise you to seek out a true quality builder and don't make a $608,000 mistake like we almost did!

To be completely honest we closed on 1/19/2022 after being left in the dark as to when the close date will be. We are now in our home with no garage doors. Cabinets are scuffed and handles are all crooked. Missing caulking and touch **** ***** is the worst project manager ever. He consistently ignores text and emails regarding repairs which are within the 30 day warranty. The work is sloppy. **** Lindsey realtors are rude and always confused, these folks must be addressed immediately!!!!
