      THIS IS A SCAM and you can't cancel the only way is to talk to the bank where they MAKE YOU LEAVE A CREDIT CARD # and the free trial IS A SCAM AND THE ***** THEY ARE TAKING OUT OF **** OF AMERICA IS $31.97 EVERY MONTH AND I'VE CALLED THE WORTHLESS NUMBER AND SINCE SEPTEMBER OF 2023 THEY HAVE BEEN RIPPING ME OFF FOR THE AMOUNT OF $31.97 A MONTH ALSO I'VE TRIED TO USE THEIR STUPID LOOK-UP? We found via our records that your subscription was created on 09/25/23, with the email address ******************* Each new subscription provides a free trial, which is 7 lookups, or 7 days, whichever comes first. Each subscriber receives a Thanks for Signing Up email as soon as they register. It provides the parameters of the free trial, your subscription, and welcomes our users to contact our team with any questions. The email was sent on 9/25/24 as well.After the 7 days were completed, the subscription was activated, and billing started on 10/2/23. We canceled the subscription per your email request on 2/6/24. We also fielded a reply email from the Thanks for Signing Up correspondence sent on 9/23/24. The reply came from you on 3/4/24. It was a request to refund your account, which we provided. There is not a phone number listed in your profile, so we cannot track any calls that you made. However, if you contact us to provide a number that you would have called us from, well be happy to research further.       I have asked for the last 3 months for my account to be closed. Each it was via phone and after the agents hard sell offers and discussions they cancelled only for it to show up again and this month again and sent an email that it was cancelled - I have not used the service in months.

Additionally, the subscription was canceled on 9/8/2020. We were also unable to find a record of any cancellation email requests from the provided email address. While a phone number was not provided with your review, we want to be sure it was in fact WorthPoints customer care team that was called.       I had cancelled my account per phone call. When I called to cancel my account I was given the hard sell from the agent and he kept trying to sell me a multitude of other things, He said he couldn't refund that month's charges even though it was only a couple of days after the charge. I finally told him to just cancel my subscription and hung up. And yet again this month again my credit card has been charged for another month! I dread having to call them back. Filing a dispute with my credit card company may be the best course of action,Does the company really think harassing customers will persuade them to continue their subscription?

However, we were able to match your first and last name and zip code to an account associated with the email address *********************** We found that a free trial was created on 8/7/23. The free trial consists of 7 lookups or 7 days, whichever comes first. An email outlining the trial was sent to the email address on file on the same date, 8/7/23, that covers the parameters of the free trial. The monthly subscription was activated after 7 days on 8/14/23, and continued to bill monthly until it was canceled by our team on 12/1/23. While a phone number was not provided, we want to be sure it was in fact WorthPoints customer care team that was contacted. Our customer care team has consisted only of women for the last 5 years, however the review specifically states that a pushy male representative did the assisting. Were happy to investigate, please send us the number that was used to call WorthPoint so that we can review any calls. The subscription is now canceled and we have provided a refund for your trouble.       Worthpoint is worthless. It's a money hungry scam. 7 days free, yeh right. When you enter the website, on your free trial basis, to get pricing on any item you must first upgrade and pay them their minimum monthly due. Cons.

It looks like there was some confusion on which email address login to use for an active subscription. Were happy to explain. We found in our records that a subscription was created with the email address ****************** on 2/15/23. The paid subscription account associated with ******************* was never accessed after it was created on 2/15/23. However another login associated with the same name was created in 2017, but without a subscription. The email associated with this login was ********************** When the login associated with ********************* was used, it certainly did not have a paid subscription, which caused the user to infer that there was no subscription. However, if the email used to create the login and subscription, ******************* had been used, full access to prices would have been available. In essence, a paid subscription was made with one email, and a free login associated with a different email login was used in an attempt to use a subscription.Email associated with paid subscription was ****************** - created on 2/15/23, and charged monthly.Email associated with no subscription was **********************The email ********************* was used to try to utilize WorthPoint Price Guide. This account is a free account with no subscription.If the email login ****************** would have been used, the subscription would have been available.       Had to stop and replace my credit card on file for autopay. One payment bounced because I had yet to update my Worthpoint account. Pretty simple deal, right? Just go in and update AutoPay account, right? Nope. Not with WorthLess. Called multiple times and was told there was an issue with my new card (i.e. bank was rejecting payment request from WorthPoint), which was wrong. Sent multiple emails.. no response. WorthPoint's customer service and IT are WorthLess. Extremely disappointing.

      I didn't have the original device I made the ******************** account on so I had to cancel my subscription via email. I did and received a email from worthpoint stating that my subscription was canceled but I keep getting charged by worthpoint. I don't want the subscription, I don't use it, so I want worthpoint to STOP charging me!!!

After 7 days, the subscription was activated on 6/29/23. The monthly billing continued on the 29th day of each month. We found that the subscription was canceled on 08/29/23 after the invoice was generated, which caused the continued draft attempts. They continued until it was successful on 9/7/23.       I inadvertently had two PAID subscriptions going with this company. Since they were due on different dates I didn't pick up on it right away. When I asked for a refund for the unused subscription they said I "abused" the free trial offers and so they weren't going to help me. I don't see anywhere where it states you can't have more than one free trial. I have had TWO paid accounts since December of 2021. Pretty loyal customer and they told me to scram!Customer Service is a huge part of any online business. There are other sites to look things up. Stay away from Worthpoint if you don't want to be treated like dirt!

      I have the same problem as many on here i tried to cancel subscription and keeps saying acct was created on a different device... there is NO different device i used...this is a scam ...charging my cc ***** us which is 40.CDN the number they leave NO ONE ANSWERS... and theres no email for them but yet i get spam from them so bizzarre ...gonna call cc company and **** it as a fraud

From the review, we inferred that you were most likely attempting to cancel via the application, which is the reason you got the message to cancel on the original device.       Wish I could rate a ZERO!!! They also scammed me. Signed up for trial. Look up for vintage jewelry feature was not good at all. ******* Lens is better and it's free. Granted not that great either.)Realized worthpoint was worthless to me. Went to cancel. It said I couldn't cancel unless I canceled from the device I signed up on. Well I was using that device. Then tried to find support email to message cancelation. None on site. Then I tried the phone number. It's out of service. Contacted my cc and they had same non functional number for worthpoint. Shame on you Worthpoint. Scamming people out of their money is deplorable!!!

We found that your subscription was created via the web version of WorthPoint, while you were attempting to cancel it via the app. The reason for the messaging that encourages ******* cancel via the original device is simply due to the subscriptions creation via the web and not the app. We understood the confusion and canceled the subscription.
