Review from a former employee,From the beginning during my interview, I was told that I would have a flexible schedule and be able to work from home. I also stated I had to be at home by 5 on certain days due to my wife having to go into work. They stated that was fine and not a issue. Once I officially started it was a rollercoaster. My direct boss was clueless on how to manage people under him. He had me all over the place. Very little training- more thrown out there. I also was told I was over a crew, which never really was the case. He undermined me constantly when I tried to take charge of my new roll. My job descriptions changed day to day with no explanation. The company states they are family orientated, which is not true at all. They knew upon hiring me I had a wife and 5 children. I also lived one and half hours away from the office. It all went down hill once I had to leave early to get home so my wife could go to work. My boss pretty much demoted me to working with the crew I was supposedly over. He told me he wanted me out there until they went home for the day. I told him I would do that but if my wife had to go to work I would be leaving. I even worked through my lunch breaks while everyone else left to eat so I could leave early- completely unnoticed. He constantly made comments about me and did so at Monday meetings in front of staff. I would call and text him for different things and he wouldn't respond. I was told from him if he didn't want to respond he didn't have to. I know another thing that bothered him was when I called him out for drinking on lunch breaks with the guys that were under him. He goes to restaurants and has a few beers 3-4 and then hops right back in his company truck and heads out to sights or back to work. You can't tell me that is okay. When I told him the last time that I had to leave so my wife could go to work he stated, "Is your house on fire"? I'm just letting everyone know what kind of place and how PM&A is.
