We have been using Kerry's Car Care to service all of our vehicles for the past 3 years. Previously, we would take our vehicles to the dealerships, but after saving nearly 40% on a repair on our 2014 ***, we no longer felt the need to pay the increased ******** to the dealership for the same quality of work. They have done everything from maintenance work (oil changes and tire rotations) to major repairs (replacing the *** on our 2014 ***)Every car we have taken (3) has been serviced to our satisfaction and completed in a timely manner. All of the employees are polite and take the time to go over the paperwork and ensure that we are satisfied. My goal is to keep my the *** running to 250K (currently at 198K) and thanks to *******, it just may happen. I highly recommend and will continue to take our vehicles to this location.

About two months ago, I brought my car in because of the strong odor of gasoline in my garage. At that time, I was told that only the seal on the fuel pump needed to be replaced, but not the fuel pump itself; and I paid Kerrys $411.50 for replacing the seal. However, that did not solve the problem of the gasoline odor; so I brought the car in again on September 12, and this time I was told that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. I paid Kerrys $588.75 for that. After driving away from their lot, I noticed that the fuel gauge was not working,, but the repair was still not done properly because after I fill up the tank, there is a very strong gasoline odor in the garage until after I drive the car for about fifty miles in order to use up a gallon or two of gas. This should have been a routine repair, but Kerrys tried three times and still did not get it done right.Even worse, when I went to pay for the fuel pump replacement, the invoice showed $928.75 for replacing the direct injection high pressure fuel pump. Kerrys would have charged me for the expensive high pressure engine pump when only the tank pump was at issue. It was only after I questioned the invoice, that the employee changed the invoice to reflect the correct tank fuel pump. Frankly, this did not make Kerrys look good at all. Finally, Kerrys charge for both the pump seal and for the fuel pump was about $60 each more than my *** dealer charges retail for the same parts. That, too, left a bad taste in my mouth. I explained all of this in an email to the General Manager, *********************, asking what he could do to help me to feel like a happy camper with Kerrys again. Unfortunately, he never responded and even refused to take my phone calls. This is not the way customers should be treated!*************************

To whom it may concern:We would like to say that we understand ****************** concerns regarding their vehicle. ************************* brought the vehicle to Kerrys ******** on 8/22/2023. ************************* brought his vehicle in for a strong odor of gas being emitted inside the customers garage. After the technician completed the vehicle inspection, the technician found that the in-tank fuel pump seal was leaking. The shop explained to ******************** that the shop needed to replace the seal and retest the system to ensure the repair was complete. After driving the vehicle for the required amount of time, the technician found there was no fuel odor post-repair. ******************** received the vehicle and drove home, calling a couple days after stating "the smell is much better, but is still there". After having ******************** return for a second inspection, the technician found that the fuel pump module casing had a secondary pin hole leak. This is a ****************************** portion of the fuel pump and requires the entire module to be removed and replaced. The shop explained to ******************** that the labor for the pump would be entirely covered under warranty as the shop had already replaced the pump seal. The customer would be responsible only for the part price and charged nothing more. ******************** agreed to the repairs verbally (as the consent signature states upon vehicle drop-off, verbal consent is an absolutely viable means of receiving consent to complete a repair). After replacing the fuel pump, ******************** arrived to pick-up his vehicle and noted the price was different from what he had been relayed by the General Manager. This was due to mock building the invoice with possible solutions (High Pressure Fuel Pump is one of the top diagnoses for leaking fuel and fuel odor among *** vehicles.) before finding the final solution of the concern and is a common practice among the top service writers in the industry. The service writer collecting the payment had not gotten the General Managers attention after the General Manager had elaborated the invoice would need final refinement before the customers payment was collected. The issue with the pricing for the ticket was resolved immediately and on the spot by the General Manager. ******************** was content and left in his vehicle. Soon afterwards, the customer returned with the fuel gauge not working properly. The shop diagnosed that the fuel pump level sender was defective and needed to be replaced yet again. After replacing the fuel pump for the second time the shop quality checked the repair and ensured there were no issues with anything that was replaced. ******************** had not brought any issues to the shops attention for weeks to come. On 9/21/2023, ******************** had sent the General Manager an email inquiring about the cost of the parts and extended timeframe it took to repair the customers vehicle, using key words such as "finally" and "time-consuming". Upon receiving this email, the General Manager tried to contact ******************** on 3 separate occasions to remedy the customers concerns and answer any questions about the repair process. The customer had not answered the phone on any of those 3 occasions. A few key points to be made within this response are correlating to time, price, and warranty. On the spectrum of time, ******************** was informed on his first visit that the repair would be same day. The first repair took a total of 5 hours to be completed due to replacing a readily available gasket. This repair was completed the same day on 8/22/2023. On the second visit for the concern, the shop was required to order a fuel pump which is not a common part to be replaced in a short amount of time due to shipping and receiving of the part. This repair lasted from 9/7/2023-9/12/2023 due to no supply in the local area. On the last visit, ************************ *** was at the shop from 9/18/2023-9/21/2023 due to waiting for the warranty pump to arrive considered the fuel level sensor was DOA.Through the entire process of the customers visits, ******************** was continuously informed that the shop has the utilities to ease his day-to-day commute and other life necessities requiring a mode of transportation. Including, but not limited to Lyft, shuttle transportation, etc. ******************** had assured the General Manager every step of the way that things are "fine" and there is "no need to worry about that". Despite the customers claims, the customer was consistently reminded the shop is here to help, should the customer need it. ******************** was thoroughly explained the reason for an extended repair time and that parts for his vehicle are not common pieces in the automotive industry. The facade being held by ******************** was done with the demeanor that everything was "ok". In relation to the price and warranty, ******************** had paid an extremely inexpensive amount for the repair being done on the vehicle. The points the customer has brought up are the facts that we charged him $60 more than retail on both the gasket and the pump, equating to a $120 mark-up over retail cost of the parts sold to a private party. This is a very true statement in the sense that we may not sell parts AT retail price to a customer. If markups were not applied in the automotive industry, there would be no convenience factors to having the repair done at a qualified repair facility. Listed are a few benefits we offer but are not limited to: ie. free Lyft services, a 5 year - ****** miles nationwide parts and labor guarantee, convenient waiting environment with coffee and TV, same day repairs, etc.******************** was charged a very small amount for such great benefits compared to other repair facilities across the nation. The implication that the customer was overcharged such an amount can be argued against with the other facts the customer has displayed. The shop will use the *** dealership the customer mentioned earlier.******************** had stated the shop charged him $120 over retail on the parts the shop had replaced. *** charges $480 for a fuel pump at retail cost for the consumer compared to the $540 that was charged to ******************** by the shop. Without formal facts, the same can be stated about the pump gasket as well. Price also plays a part in the convenience aspect of repair. *** requires a 2 week lead time with extended appointment times to have your vehicle serviced. In the total amount of days that Mr. ********* vehicle was at the shop, equates to nearly half the time it would have sat at the dealership before the vehicle was even inspected. Note that *** also charges $225/hr labor rate and also only carries a 2yr Unlimited Mileage warranty compared to the shops $179/hr and 5yr 50k mileage warranty. Using these facts as described, we can confidently note that the approximate final price at *** to have the same repair conducted at retail price without a dealer mark-up on parts would cost the consumer $1,172. The price in which the repair was completed by Kerry's Car Care was $1,000 with more than twice the warranty and 50% less wait time. The pricing calculations referring to the dealership are done under the notion that the dealership was being extremely gracious and providing the consumer with a part that had 0% profit. As noted on the invoice all of our repairs come with a 5 year/****** mile pro-rated limited warranty. If the customer has any issues with the repairs made on the vehicle, they may reach out to the location to work on a solution if needed.Once again, I do apologize for your experience and frustration in this matter. Please feel free to reply with any questions and/or concerns you may have in this matter. Thank you,Kerrys ********

Kerrys auto repair at 43rd ave and olive is a sham! I brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and said it was the solenoid on the gas tank. They replaced it and after ******* ddollars later it still wasnt fixed. I brought it back in a week later when chk engine light came back on and they had to replace it again my truck now started to leak gas after the fixed it the first time when it wasnt doing that before. Called them again and they said they would have to drop my gas tank to find out whats going on. I told them no and they said my gas cap was the problem. They charged me ***** for the gas cap which is ridicules! My truck is still not fixed and I WILL never use them again!!!! They grasp at straws and start replacing one thing at a time until they figure out whats wrong. Its also posted that diagnostic to see whats wrong is free then charged me ***** and also said shuttle is free then charged me for that. Stay away from them they are horrible.

To whom it may concern:We would like to apologize to *********************** in regard to the concerns with his vehicle. *********************** brought the vehicle to Kerrys ******** on 9/29/2023. The vehicle came in for an evaporative emissions leak causing the check engine light. An EVAP leak, or evaporative emissions control system leak, occurs when fuel vapors escape from the car's fuel tank or any other part of the system that controls them. The vehicle was tested by introducing smoke into the system allowing the technician to locate any leaks. Once the system is filled with smoke the technician can test the solenoids and valves in the emissions system. The technician found that the vapor canister vent solenoid was not activating. An activated carbon canister is used to capture hydrocarbon vapor emissions from the fuel tank as part of an emissions control system. Once the canister was replaced the system was retested and no further leaks were found at the time. The fuel cap was replaced per customer request as stated in the review. As noted on the invoice all of our repairs come with a 5 year/50,000 mile pro-rated limited warranty. If the vehicle is now leaking fuel the shop would be happy to take a look at the vehicle and see if the leak can be located. If ***** would be willing to bring the vehicle to one of our locations for inspection, we would do a free visual inspection at no cost to the customer. The shop performed the following repairs; vapor canister vent solenoid and fuel tank cap. Once again, I do apologize for your experience and frustration in this matter. Please feel free to reply with any questions and/or concerns you may have in this matter. Thank you,Kerrys ********

On September 5,2023, I paid Service Street Auto, ********, **., ******** dollars to repair the fuel line, replace the fuel pump and the battery. The issue my truck was experiencing was that it continued to stall and cut off. It also would not crank. They had the my vehicle for 3 weeks. After I was told that the vehicles' repairs were fully complete, I was told to pick up the vehicle. I did so. within 45 minutes of retrieving the vehicle, it stalled and would not crank for 45 minutes. I contacted Service street auto and brought the vehicle back. On the second occasion, I was called and told that the repairs were finally complete. I went to pick up the vehicle. Within 24 hours, the vehicle shut down again and would not crank. 48 hours later, It crank and I returned it to them again for further inspection. After picking it up for the third consecutive time, I asked for a refund. I also asked **** about the their initial diagnostic. He told me that they never performed a diagnostic and that the devise needed for the diagnostic was **** dollars.(Odm-1) I went to auto zone and purchased the device myself for ***** dollars. It read as a Fuel Pump errot! The same service I paid them ******** dollars to fix. Yet, My request was met with arrogance and disdain by the manager (****). I got in the vehicle and left. Within 24 hours, the truck stalled again and would not crank. I then decided to have it towed to another shop. After a full diagnostic, they told me that their was a leak in the fuel pump and fuel line. They got the truck started and I returned it to Service Street Auto for the 4th time. I showed them the diagnostic and the manager accused them of tampering. Even though I had to bring the vehicle back to Service Street 4 consecutive times. They are manipulative, inefficient, faulty and over priced for labor. (****** Per hour) I hope every customer is aware of their lack luster skill set and overall automotive shop repair skills.

To whom it may concern:We would like to apologize to *************************** in regard to the concerns with his vehicle. *************************** had his **** GMC Sonoma towed to Service Street on 8/21/2023 due to the vehicle would not start. The shop would need to perform a diagnostic on the vehicle which would require the customers approval. The customer was not answering the shops phone calls for about a week and a half. Once the customer answered, the customer approved the diagnostic. Later that day the technician found that the fuel pump had failed. The shop needed the customers approval to replace it. The customer did not answer the phone for nearly a week and once the customer did, the customer was upset that the shop did not fix it yet. After getting the customers approval the technician finished the repair the next day. The customer did not pick up the truck for several days. When the customer arrived to pick up the truck, the customer wanted the General Manager to go outside with him so that he could review the work that was completed. The customer had several concerns about the truck that were not mentioned to the shop previously. After looking over the repairs the customer paid for the invoice and asked if he could leave the vehicle for the shop to look over again to make sure there were no other issues. The shop advised the customer that with his vehicle being 30 years old there are some exhaust and rust issues but not anything safety related, and the customer agreed to come and pick up the vehicle. The vehicle sat at the shop for several days waiting for the customer to pick up the vehicle. Once the customer arrived to pick it up the vehicle, the customer seemed aggressive and tense. The customer then drove off and came right back to the shop an hour later driving the truck stating that the truck had stalled on him. The customer left the truck with the shop again. The shop tested the truck everyday (several times a day) and it started every single time over a weeks period. The shop left a fuel pressure tester on the fuel system overnight, every night and the fuel pressure never dropped indicating that there are no leaks in the system. The shop also test drove the truck every day and it never stalled. The shop contacted the customer and let him know that the technician has not been able to duplicate his concern and the repairs the shop made on the vehicle are good, it was starting, running well and not leaking any fuel. The customer became upset and asked when the shop was refunding him. The General Manager stated that there is not going to be a refund due to the lack of evidence the vehicle was stalling. The customer came and picked up his vehicle. The customer came back the following day, driving his truck and came in stating that he went to another oil change shop, and they told him his fuel was leaking. The customer then showed the General Manager a video of a fuel line that was steadily dripping fuel. The General Manager found this to be very odd as this vehicle was not dripping any fuel the entire time it was on the property as the shop would have not only seen a leak onto the floor and pavement of that size but would have also smelled fuel, not to mention the fuel pressure tester would have not held consistent pressure. The shop pulled the customers truck in immediately, tightened the fuel line that had been loosened (it was only finger tight). The shop advised the customer that it appeared to have been tampered with. The customer became upset again stating that the shops parts were faulty. The shop further confirmed and advised the customer that none of the parts were faulty and the customer insisted that the shop is wrong. As noted on the invoice all of our repairs come with a 5 year/50,000 mile pro-rated limited warranty. If the customer has any issues with the repairs made on the vehicle, they may reach out to the location to work on a solution if needed.Once again, I do apologize for your experience and frustration in this matter. Service Street is the worst shop and does awful work. They are a ************************* shop is the only reason we went there. First they didn't complete the **************** claim correctly and tried to charge me the extra $2500 which was being covered by the warranty. When I questioned them they states it was for parts. It was a transmission repair and **************** was paying for the transmission. The issue was that they put the wrong price on the claim form for the transmission and they didnt want Car *** to know they made a mistake. Then I got that fixed and the repair was done. They put the wrong claim number on the claim form and the payment was not getting released from ****************. They will not give me back my car until the payment was released from Car *** but they submitted the claim wrong. It takes Car *** 2 days to release payment. **** and ***** from Service Street are the worst to work with and make a ton of mistakes. Do not take your vehicle here.

*** WARNING *** Scam alert!!! - Auto repair shop in Southlands near ***** Fargo. Do not go here! I went in for an oil change and then they flat-out lied to me about needing a brake job. They said the brake pads were dangerously low at 2-3mm. The quote was 2-3 times what other shops were charging. Thank goodness I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion that reported the brakes were safe at 6-8mm. Additionally, they said that the quote would not be valid if I drove away, as the brake pads were too low to be safe. Classic scam. Additionally, when I confronted them about it, they tried blaming their technician and did nothing to make it right. They tried charging me $40 for an oil filler cap ($6 on Amazon) and $40 for an air filter, which they said was dirty (I had replaced it a month ago). The moral of the story - always get a second opinion. I will never be going back there.

I brought my car in to have the ** looked at as it was blowing warm air. First off, just to tell me what was wrong they charge $159. Then they come back and say we need to do a system recharge and refill with freon. That cost is an additional $367, which brings my bill to $567 total. They then say that the real problem is going to cost me an additional $1400. As soon as I leave the lot, my car is still blowing hot air. When I bring it back, I am told that nothing can be done other than to pay them the additional $1400 which would have brought our total bill to $2000. At best, this is one of the most absurd business models I have ever seen, to charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars and not even be able to tell someone what the real problem is, and say you have band aided the issue, and that not even be true. I understand paying like a fee to look at it, but $587 to be told now we know the real problem and its a $1400 fix is absurd. For comparison, to see if this was in line or if I was being "taken for a ride" I took the car to Auto Works of ********* to have them diagnose and quote what they could fix for if the diagnosis given to me by Service Street was accurate. Their quote to look at, diagnose, order parts, and labor came to $646.49, almost $1400 cheaper than what the entirety of the issue would have costed me to address with Service Street. Needless to say, Auto Works of ********* will be getting all of my business from here on out. Service Street, in my opinion, preys on people like me, and my wife, who know absolutely nothing about cars and what the parts and fixes cost, and up sales. The mere fact that another auto repair place in ********* can be given the same scope of work and turn out a bill roughly $1400 cheaper lends some validity to that statement.

I had my SUV towed here as it would not start. I received a VM four days later saying my engine seized, it would be $7g to put a used engine in. I was in the hospital during this time, I got out a few days later and I had another VM telling me that my car was going to be towed as they cant afford it store it I was in the hospital. I had no way of doing anything in two days. So I called the next day and spoke with *** and told them that I really didnt appreciate being told that my car was going to get towed as I hadnt gotten back to them in 2 days about doing the work on it. I said that they really shouldnt be calling people who are trying to give them business threatening to get their car towed if they dont call back in two days and agree to a $7g repair on a car worth less than that. Whoever answered the phone agreed and apologized and said no matter what they will not tow my car without speaking to me. I explained I was doing research because I didnt have $7g. Well, about 2 weeks later I was hospitalized again. When I was discharged a week later, or so, I had an email saying that my vehicle was towed to Howards. Not only did I not sign anything or agree to anything, they never even called first. I was very sick and now after missing over a month of work, I have to come up with money while there is a storage fee on my car that doesnt run? Because they chose to tow it instead of calling me. I have AAA and I couldve had it towed to my house. All they had to do was call. And now I am stuck with another bill that I cant afford. Because I never signed anything or agreed to even have them look at my car, I think they need to pay to get my car out and have it towed to me. First they give me an estimate that is over 2g more than 4 others, then they told me theyre gonna tow my car and I called and they promised they want. They will call first. They dont even try? Its responsibility to get me my car out. (Enough 1 star complaints on his business?)

Complete Scam, took my car there to change a bearing which typically costs $250-500 they added a bunch of thing on top of that and the total was $3000. They double charged for a part and the person who test drove it LIED TO MY FACE I had to turn around and take it back to have them fix it. They still haven't replaced the stole money from me. Never do business here. They also have drug dealers hanging around outside that sell to the employees. This is why they mess everything up because they are all high and refuse to do any kind of drug test of their employees.
