STAY AWAY FROM THEM MISDIAGNOSED OIL LEAK AND I HAD TO PAY ADDITIONAL $5000 to fix it after having paid them $2000Review from James H

The Cadillac dealer performed a multi point inspection on my SUV which resulted in need of an engine/motor mount. I have Car Shield for my extended warranty. The dealer does not accept Car Shield due to problems getting paid from Car Shield but provided me a quote for $897.00 for 4 hr labor. Hence, I took my SUV to ********* Service Station in Alpharetta, **. A** quoted me a price ******* for 8 hr labor. Car Shield denied the claim indicating A** is not competitive and is overcharging for a job on both labor and parts. Beware of America's Service Station price gouging and overpricing. Took my SUV to *** Boys who did the job in less than 4 hr for ******.

Hi *****, so correction - The quote I gave you was $780.93 per mount. This price was lower than the quote from the dealership. Also note that Americas Service Station quoted you 2 mounts(left and right engine mount). The dealer quoted you 1 mount for $897. So you can only compare the price on a per mount basis. Note that the part alone is $230, you can go to Cadillac and purchase the same parts for that price - so no **** up. Your warranty company only wanted to pay half the amount. This puts the business at a loss. So I told you I am unable to do the work because your warranty company is not paying the market rate. Therefore there was no service done on your vehicle at my shop. So by me choosing not to service the vehicle based on the warranty company's quote, I don't understand how this is price gouging?
