            Okelley & Sorohan was the firm that handled the closing for my home sale on August 18, 2021.. After closing, the funds were not disbursed until a week later, August 25. Multiple attempts to contact the escrow officer about the delay went unanswered. I was informed by the primary mortgage, Bank of America that several payoff requests were issued on August 17: one valid for August 18 and another valid for August 27. However, the settlement statement reflected a payoff amount between the two,. I still have not received an explanation for the payoff discrepancies which resulted in paying more for my mortgages than I should have. I also want to know why several payoff requests were used as upper/lower bounds for the settlement statement. Based on the information, It appears the disbursement delays were more than a matter of an oversight.
