    in April 2022. i toured a 4bedroom 21/2 bathroom at Clifton ridge townhome. i applied for the unit paying 50 dollars application and 200 administration fees. ************** at the leasing told me i will get an update regarding my application in two days, after two days the leasing office called my reference on the application to let me know that my application was approve that i should call them, i tried calling the office several times, but no one picked up, i drove over, but the office was closed. i week later after calling a number of times my phone call was answered but i was told that the unit was given to someone else. That she was going to refund my application and administrative fee. at that time the manager ******* jumped into the phone conversation stating that there is another unit that is going to be available in august that they will be able to save that for me but a needed to deposit $500 that will be apply into my security deposit. i agreed and i summited a money order for $500. i did not get to see the unit because it was occupied by the tenants. i was supposed to move in September 1st. i went to view the unit august 29th, the office refused to show me the unit stating i was 5 minutes late, i went bank on the 30th to view the unit i was shown a 4bedroom 2 bathrooms. Instead of the 4-bedroom 21/2 bathrooms that i applied for. i asked for my money a total of $750 to be refunded back to me since they were unable to deliver what a applied for. i talked with the manager ******* who sounded so rude stating he was not going to refund my money that i should take whatever unit that is been offered to me, i am surprised at the actions of this office because after going through two disappointments, and they are still refusing to refund my money.

    This company is a JOKE!?!?!?!? I've been a tenant since October of 2020. I have never been loud, never been late, never had an issue. My rent was $750 every month until I resigned my lease in October of 2021 to which it only went up to $775 for my studio loft. The late fee's being $75 on the 7th of every month. I recently started a new job which meant my pay schedule was off-no worries. By the 7th the rent is late and I can no longer pay online like normal-no problem- I got my money order (per requested by Victorian Village) and went to drop it off. The building was shut down due to the ENTIRE staff having covid-19, I went to drop it in the "Rent Drop Box" but was stopped due to the slot being tapped up. On the 19th (less than 2 weeks later) I went to drop the payment again, no luck since it was still closed (I get off at 6:30 when the office closes at 5:30) and box taped up. I busted the box open (as I was being watched by after hours workers) and proceeded to drop my MO to make sure it was at least in their building. I double checked an called the next day to MAKE SURE they got my money-which ****** assured me she received it. Here it is the 27th of January and I come home to find FOUR papers of this building taking me to court saying I owe $1199 because I was past due rent. I checked my portal to then see ****** didn't put my payment in until a week later on the 26th. This place is TERRIBLE with customer service, TERRIBLE with the upkeep of the property, TERRIBLE in making it semi normal to deal with any issues, TERRIBLE with repairs. The place is in a great location but absolutely atrocious when it comes to handling business.
