Unlicensed Vet Tech Used Sprayberry to Acquire Pureblood ********* A vet tech from another veterinarian decided she wanted to take my young ********* cat. Due to financial problems, I had tried to take my very sick kitty into a charitable vet, ************ with ************************* on Saturday. He refused to treat her, but he said that ********************** with ********* would work out a payment plan with me. Unbeknownst to me, ************** vet tech conveyed to Sprayberry Animal Hospital negative information and that she wanted to acquire the cat. When I went in for my appointment the next Monday, Sprayberry told me that they no longer offer payment plans, and would not treat my very sick kitty. A week had now passed since I had originally contacted ************. My cats life was in danger and I was desperate.Meanwhile, the vet tech is contacting me, asking me to give her the cat; she would be sure to have her treated. Because I loved this cat and did not want to see her die, I reluctantly agreed to give her the cat.Sprayberry Animal Hospital worked out a payment plan with the vet tech, and gave her a discount on top of it. They also called animal control regarding the condition of my untreated kitty. Animal control came out and inspected, all of my other cats were and are robustly healthy and passed inspection.After all of this transpired, I researched and discovered that the vet tech was unlicensed and also operated an unlicensed animal rescue. All of these actions have been reported to the ************************** and are currently under investigation since August 2023. Shame on you, Sprayberry Animal Hospital, for participating in this scheme and essentially aiding and abetting a fake vet tech in acquiring a valuable pureblood animal.
