I feel that we were lied to. We paid for a survey that ended in an overlap of property. We came to the meeting and the other person was by phone. The back of our property overlaped 9', Our chainlink to the road was good to go. Just the back needed to be moved over. Not the front half of our property. When Quattlebaum came back out and resurveyed the property they included the front half. Which now we had to move the privacy fence that separates our properties by 3" at the front to 12" at the chainlink fence. Mr Alan from Quattlebaum said in the meeting that he would be here to oversee the resurvey, did not come. Yet when I called him to let him know he said that we had agreed to it. We didn't agree to the front half, only the back half. So now it's cost us$574.00 so far just to move the front half. We are disabled veterans on a fixed income. My husband has a heart condition, I am a !00% disabled veteran with health issues as well. We can't afford to hire others to do the work and pay for materials. We feel that we were lied to, and would like an apology. We appreciated Quattlebaum for trying to be the go between, between Mr Scott D***** and us. But our bodies can't do all this work without consequences. We hurt so bad that sleep isn't easy from the pain that we've been in. We also feel that if you couldn't discuss this matter in person with both parties, then his thoughts shouldn't have been in the meeting. $575.00 is a lot of money, but the aches and pains are going to last quite awhile.
