    we are negative by the amount of a check you sent us back in March or April that we deposited within the 120-day time frame/void after date listed on the check. What do we need to do for the check to either become processable or to get another check?     Do not trust this mortgage company to help you with recovery post covid. Like many folks I had to defer my mortgage payments after being laid off from both of my jobs during covid. Even once I was hired back (at a lower salary) covid as well as economic changes affected my ability to make my payments causing more months to be deferred. While the company says they want to help customers keep their homes, after numerous attempts to get a modified loan I keep getting told conflicting information from employees (you can never speak to the same person twice and they rely on notes in the computer to understand the situation, which have not been helpful) they have also said they have tried to contact me multiple times to speak to me when I have had no calls from them. I have resorted to emailing them. They did not respond to my email regarding a payment that needs to be made on January 1 until 5:42 PM on the Friday before New Year’s weekend. They will be closed Monday for the holiday and the loss. Mitigation department is not open on weekends, so therefore it is impossible for me to get ahold of anyone to speak about this payment due.
