      Stay away from this pool contractor! Texas Blue Lake Pools made a new install of an inground pool for us. When I could be at the construction site, I was the supervision correcting many insufficiencies and mistakes. The crew had no guidance in many instances and were not properly trained, did not have the correct tools to do the job and did not care. Management/Ownership always assured me that incorrect issues would be resolved but never were. Management was only on the project when I called to alert him to a major issue. A few examples of the issues were ... concrete pool coping that had wavy edges due to incorrect form installation, a curved fountain wall that had flat places due to incorrect form installation, improper tile installation and grouting that made a glass wall look terrible and tiles have fallen off, when gouting the tile around the pool they got grounting all over the concrete coping which cannot be removed, the concrete decking was to be colored but was not on install, the concrete decking has separated from the coping, and the fountains never did properly work as the holes were plugged with debris upon istallation (debris could not be removed). Inspection by the City was a nightmere (ie. inground water piping from the pool to the pool equipment was not deep enough and had to be cut out and redone). TBL made a few minor attempts to correct some of the issues that could be corrected (some could not); however, they quit communicating with us and have made none of it right. I have had to pay another contractor to completely tear out and refurbish the fountains. I seriously do not know how they have stayed in business due to their poor practices.

      Sorry, less than 1 star!!!!! July 5, 2022 and July 11, 2022 Blue Lakes Pool came out to clean our pool. On both occasions the pool was not clean of dark, dirty spots on the bottom and floating debris. Upon communicating back and forth with the Service Manager, through phone calls and emails and excuse after excuse I sent a final email letting them know an online payment has been sent for 1/2 the payment due as per their request. They felt like I should pay for the technicians time spent even though the pool was still unusable. I leave this review so others will know the quality of their service as well as the expectations of their employees, or lack there of. I hope this helps other to not have to go through what we did. My advise would be to get everything in writing, this company needs the boundaries defined as to what exactly they will be doing, how long they will take and how much it will cost as well as to what condition they will leave your pool in. In our case, money was spent without the results of a clean pool. The company missed the whole point, that was to clean our pool, not get in and out within an hour. Outdoor cameras help also to verify just exactly how long the technician worked vs how long he said he worked....definitely some dispute on that and in this case the "customer was wrong", in their opinion!!!!!! I had and sent pictures and videos to back up my claim, but this company is just concerned about getting paid instead of making it right...in my opinion. I write this not because I am angry or frustrated but to help others make a good, educated decision regarding the integrity of this company.

I assure you that we verified the time the technician was at your property via GPS tracking prior to billing. In an attempt to satisfy your frustration with these charges, we offered to discount the bill 50%, which you accepted, and have indeed paid as you stated.
