Our home had no water pressure and we contacted the company to come out and access the issue. The gentleman who arrived took it upon himself to come through the front door when we asked him to come through the garage door. Tracking tons of snow/dirt through our home. This gentleman was at our residence for maximum of 20 minutes. Throughout his time spent at our home he messed with the kitchen sink and a bathroom sink followed by looking at our water softener and pressure tank. Our pressure meter is broken so no reading could be accomplished but the Altrols employee was very adamant about our softener being very old and needing to be replaced. He continued to tell my husband it would most likely fix our issue. He also bypassed the softener which is a push of a button. Because he did this, some of the pressure did return to our tank. My biggest concern is my husband asked him if he could try to change the filter and he told my husband he couldnt because it was located in such a small space in our garage and he was not able to fit back there. My husband accepted this and then ***** employee began to wrap things up. He told my husband he was going to call his office and ask if he could bill this as a quote instead of a troubleshooting ticket because he himself felt he did no more than pushing the button to bypass the softener and also run a quote for a new one. I talked to a manager by the name of *** who was very unprofessional from the very beginning of him taking the phone call. *** did not possess any qualities of a business manger whatsoever. He continued raising his voice at me to the point where I had to disconnect the line. I wanted to talk to him to work something out besides the $189 we paid for no work being done. I understand these workers drive out and take the time to troubleshoot the issue but when their own employee brings up the fact that he didnt do much of anything and even attempted to have the price lowered, it speaks for itself.
