Alaska Fire and Flue were contacted to do a inspection on wood stove and 2 toyo stove before purchase of the property. They came back saying both ****'s were cleaned and tested and while the stove pipe was in good shape the recommended to extend the pipe to meet code and have the bricks replaced. The seller of the property agreed to pay for some of the repaired up to $1194.81 and a check was given to them at closing. Once the property had closed I would arrange a suitable time for them to carry out the work and then pay the final balance. After closing and arranging a time for them to carry out the work it rained in the area and the stove was covered in water. I had fire and flue come out to check the issue and was told I needed to replace 4 metal roof panels and some additional work around the stove pipe (Keeping in mind the inspection came back fine). I agreed and paid as I wanted it fixed. A few week later I checked the toyos before winter and notice but exhaust pipes were full of soot and the fuel filters were original and not cleaned/replaced.A few months later after the work completed it rained and I got a new leak in a different part of the building and the lower snow stopped were ripped of the roor. I called Alaska fire and flue to come out and check the issue, at no point was I told there would be a service call and I didn't expect one due to it being an existing installed less than 6 months old. One of there employees came out and checked the work and said nothing was wrong with the install & would suggest "patching" the holes caused my the snow stops. A few days later I get an invoice $300 service charge visit and caulking a hole on the other side of the roof. When I contacted *********** they said nothing was wrong with the install, however screws on the other parts of the roof were loose. Nothing in the report/service charge I got mentioned anything about roofing screws loose and I have had someone go up and take pictures confirming not loose screws
