Akron, OH - Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern Oklahoma initiated an investigation into Payless Car Rental regarding the complaint history of Payless Car Rental of Tulsa. Payless Car Rental offers discounted car rentals and can commonly be found at airports around the country, along with other big name car rental companies such as Budget and Enterprise. While Payless Car Rental offers discounted prices for those who are on a budget for their distant vacations, Payless has received multiple complaints regarding three sectors: Sales Practices, Billing and Contracts. More than ten percent of complaints were from consumers in Florida and California, two major tourist destinations.

BBB of Oklahoma teamed up with ABC's Good Morning America to conduct an investigation regarding the allegations against Payless Car Rental. During these investigations, it was revealed that Payless had tacked on additional charges that were not transparent in the original signed contract. They were also revealed to have distributed unsafe cars to unsuspecting customers.
