Had electrical issues from day one. Had service come out from the Medina location. He told me it just blew a breaker. I told the service man I did a complete reset of the breakers and it did not fix the 5 outlets that were not working. Service showed up and because my husband was able to reset the GFIC plug the "service" guy was satisfied that fixed it. I told him on the phone it had electrical issues but I've been being patted on the head most of my life by "men" so when I was ignored it did not surprise me. Now we are in Alabama....outlets not working. GFIC plug light is orange (for the service "man" that means it's not working properly) and can't find a service person to do warranty work. So here we are with a 47K camper and half the plugs don't work. I will NEVER take it to Medina...they don't fix anything anyway. And while I'm being a woman ill complain about the rust on the fender and nose of the camper...formed after 2 weeks! Paid for the protective spray....after one week in a camp grounds I see it was not sprayed and will mold if we don't wash it weekly. Comes down to this...do NOT trust Avalon in Medina OH! We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your outlets again. When our road call technician left your camper August 8th all of the GFI outlets were in working order. We would be happy to service your camper and address these issues if you would give **** in service a call ************. If you would prefer you also have the option to have a Priority RV Network Dealer service your unit even sooner, before you leave Alabama. **** can also help you with scheduling this.Review from Amanda T

We recently purchased a NEW 2022 Dutchman Colorado camper from Avalon RV Center in North Ridgeville in June 2023. We noticed during the walk through that the right side of the awning was not adjusting properly. When we pointed this out **** (Service Manager) that stated that the awning just needs to be used & lubricated, then proceeded to give my husband a can of silicone. The camper has been sitting in our driveway since it was brought home. On 7/30/23 we noticed that the awning was coming off the camper. My husband called to get the warrantee started. On 8/03/23 the awning completely fell off the camper. Thank goodness my children were not playing by this when it happened or when we were driving down the road. My husband got in touch with the dealership & was told that the awning has a recall, WE WERE NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS RECALL WHEN PURCHASING THE CAMPER. To try to get this issued resolved my husband spoke to ***** ******. He was extremely rude, and NO help, he stated to him that "we bought a cheap model and we should have purchased a more expensive one" (pretty much he called us poor and idiots for purchasing this) My husband asked if the warranty for the camper could be extended due to their negligence and was told "absolutely not he sells his campers as is." My husband also asked if we could be compensated for the deposits we lost on our upcoming trip and was also told no. They are willing to fix this awning, but now we have lost out on a deposit for a vacation we had planned on 08/11/2023, along with vacation time from work for both of us, our twin boys (Who are 5) are now extremely upset that they no longer are going. SO THANK YOU AVALON RV CENTER FOR SELLING US A CAMER DISHONESTLY. YOU KNEW ABOUT THE RECALL AND DECIDED NOT TO TELL US. All of this could have been avoided if they were just honest with us during our walk through, and we would have had no issue with the camper having a recall if we would have known.Avalon RV Center, Inc. Hi ******, we have a different recollection of your trailer transaction. 1- The recall was performed a month prior to your purchase. It was simply a visual inspection. 2- Your husband never asked for compensation nor would he be entitled to compensation considering it is an "upcoming trip" on August 11th and you have a service appointment for today August 5th to get the awning repaired. 3- Your husband stated yesterday that you were not really going to be using the trailer this year and regretting your purchase for that reason. He also stated the he may just "drop it off and let the bank come get it". Regardless, we are sorry you feel we did something wrong and that you are unhappy with your purchase.Review from Jessica L

Can't say enough great things about the whole staff. We looked all over at many dealers for the perfect RV and none could provide better service than what Avalon RV Center had. We found exactly what we wanted in Avalon RV Center. From the 1st phone call to the day we picked the Sunseeker up, everything was perfect. They went over everything with us and did a full walk-through. It's worth every mile.Review from Bob M

They simply do not return phone calls, a sign of a poorly run business. I've called 3 times requesting help/guidance about issues I've had with our 5th wheel, nobody ever calls back. I'll never go back there again.Avalon RV Center, Inc. Response

A company only interested in taking your money and not helping when it comes to helping or repairing the brands they sell. I do not have enough time or space to write the entire process of purchasing and having my camper repaired by avalon rv. Short version is camper was broken on first adventure out. Took a few months to get in then was at avalon rv for 5 or so months. They almost fixed the issues but in the process broke and damaged other components of my brand new camper. I take it back the next day they were open to have my camper kept at their facility for another 3 months before they even start looking at the camper they just had for over 5 months. Now we leap forward roughly 3 months to now it being complete. 90% of the issues are now fixed and another 20% of things broken or scratched by avalon. The service manager had the audacity to acuse me of the damages. My camper which I have been paying on for over a year has spent almost the entire time broken at the avalon rv facility. How could I have the chance to do anything with the camper, my children have not even had a chance to break my camper. Now while I sit in the dark in my camper due to the fact the battery discharged and froze over winter I think to myself am I the only customer who has been treated so poorly at this facility. I hope this keeps others from being taken advantage of by avalon rv.Avalon RV Center, Inc. Response

Hey *****, I'm sorry we are unable to make you happy. Sometimes its a parts issue and sometimes its a diagnostic and repair issue. Our goal is to always get thing correct the first time. Regardless, obtaining parts during Covid has been a headache and as you recall, Avalon offered to buy it back from you in November of 2021. You declined. The so called "damage" you're referring to are the scratches on the assist handle by the entry door. That is simply normal wear and tear from folding it in and out. Unfortunately, I don't believe Avalon will ever be able to make you happy. Therefore, I suggest you contact another dealer for your service needs.
