Manages economic development growth in Medina County.  Markets and manages tax abatement programs for three Enterprise Zones and seven Community Reinvestment Areas.  From 1998-2011, MCEDC assisted companies in tax abatement zones to create over 3,500 new jobs and spend over $400 million in new capital investments.  Works with state, county and local officials on a daily basis, serving as a primary contact and conduit for MCEDC members.  We serve as advocates on the township, city, county and state levels.  MCEDC fosters strong partnerships between schools and businesses by facilitating educational programs, interships and creative tax incentives.  Assists companies with securing federal, state, regional and lcoal training cost reimbursements.  Serve alongside our educational partners in order to keep workforce skills up to date and to provide higher local education opportunities for citizens of the county.  Continues to lead the initiative to bring a fiber network into the county to service business, industry, government and educational institutions. We serves as the Administrator for the Medina County Port Authority which provides competitve financing opportunities to businesses looking to expand or locate in Medina County.  Offers great networking opportuntiies with government officials and potential clients.
